Juan Mata is getting better each week - ball control is next level. Makes late runs into the box and these will start going in soon.
Jing Reec in the last 2 cameos has actually contributed and looks a bit more of a footballer now.

First 6 weeks of the season, we were damn near unwatchable. Whatever switch has been flicked, leave it on.
Just need to train the team to learn that once Mata is subbed, not to switch off and start patting each other on the back. We seem to have a 10 minute period there when the whole momentum of the game changes

Get him back but only on a long term deal.
Seriously what's the point playing in Norway? Not like the standard is a significant leap over the A-League. And surely visibility for Socceroos selection is reduced. Imagine life in the off seasons where it's mostly dark all day. Money probably isn't great either. I honestly can't think of a single Aussie footballer who progressed their career by playing in Norway. Usually ends up in a sideways move or back to Australia.

Jason Geria and / or Tommy D in Japan also need a team as J-League switches seasons to align with Europe (next season starts in August).
Get the 3 of them in and the depth and starting squad is unreal!

Ibusuki surely with the Indian Super League debacle.
Quite how we didn't snap him up is baffling. Was based in Melbourne already. He needed a team, we needed a striker. Yet somehow he agreed a deal with an Indian team.
