Khawaja calls himself to the bowling crease
With Queensland's Sheffield Shield encounter with Tasmania heading for a draw, Bulls skipper Usman Khawaja decided it was his turn to bowl.www.cricket.com.au
Sort of.Yorkie.
I've said it before, I'll say it again.
The closest thing Poms have to Aussies. Generally great people.
They don't like those soft southerners (In a Yorkshire accent).![]()

It's a shame 90% of people in here would rather moan about Green. There were a couple of cracking innings to enjoy for those who actually get absorbed by Test cricket rather than playing selector all 5 days. How good is another couple of days of this going to be?
Steve Waugh at the same age as Green
Waugh: 2,166 runs @36.1 from 71 Innings
Green: 1,744 runs @ 32.3 from 58 innings
The talent is there and he will come good.
He's likely to go past Tendulkar for both hundreds and runs. He's an all time great.Yep. But I'm pretty sure they still count it as hundreds.
The bloke is a great player, no doubt. None.
It wasn't the way he got out today but he has the Shaun Marsh problem of looking all at sea for the first 20 balls. Unless he fixes it he'll have a test career like himI think Green needs a sports psychologist more than anything else
Happy with Webster, he’s not who I’m referring to.Webster isn't "a state bloke who's nowhere near it" though.
He use to struggle to a start, now he gets a start and gets himself out.
Joel GarnerSimilarity’s go a bit further, tall men, bad footwork early
I agree. Keep web and green in the team. And also Jake as opener. Chopping and changing meh. Let them settle. And green to work on his footwork and body positioning. Just my take.Happy with Webster, he’s not who I’m referring to.
Im saying both Green and him should be playing because they’re the best we have and the next guys in the conversation are unproven state players in the Weatherald mold.
McSweeney and Renshaw seem to be the consensus but they’re not sure things either and have both “failed” at the top level.
Why does it have to be Webster or Green when both look like they’re in the top handful of players that can score international runs.
Because Green averaged 21 for the calendar year and does not have the career form to warrant backing in.Happy with Webster, he’s not who I’m referring to.

5 tests is a long time to let a 31 year old settle. After the way he batted in the first dig, i would say he's in a bit of strifeI agree. Keep web and green in the team. And also Jake as opener. yep10am start again?
IIRC the mentality was "He's only the substitute guy while Green was injured, Green is the incumbent and will come back".Did Webster get injured during 2025? I'm trying to understand how he wasn't picked earlier in this series, given how well he did when he came in for the series against India.
His test record, although brief, would not warrant him being dropped for Green.
