What a disgrace they both are, seeking to build political capital off a tragedy.![]()
At the Bondi vigil, Pauline and Barnaby turned tragedy into opportunism. It is inexcusable | Julianne Schultz
Hanson has done more than any other politician to foster division in Australia. Her words to mourners after the horrific attack ring hollowwww.theguardian.com
At least she has shown up and spoken to victims… what’s image albo done? Run for the hillsWhat a disgrace they both are, seeking to build political capital off a tragedy.
Wouldn't you agree that politicians who were opposed to banning hate speech are far more responsible tham Albanese? Wouldn't you agree that those who use racism as a political tool are more responsible? Wouldn't you agree that those who enthusiastically supported the genocide in Gaza more responsible? At least she has shown up and spoken to victims… what’s image albo done? Run for the hills
You don't do it whilst the bodies are still warm, there is a time and place. Ask NZ after the Christchurch massacre. It lacks class and respect. And she doesn't give a F about the victims, she was just using them to push her crap.At least she has shown up and spoken to victims… what’s image albo done? Run for the hills
You know what I find cute coming from the right, about being big on antisemitism. Is that according to studies by the JCA, is that right wingers are way more likely to be antisemantic than other political groups. And also most of them have been sprouting anti migration and racist rhetoric daily, and wonder why people snap. But apparently that's okay, but but antisemistism. Spend a few minutes on X, before the massacre happened and you will see what I mean. Some of the most vile stuff I have ever seen typed, have come from Hansons base.Wouldn't you agree that politicians who were opposed to banning hate speech are far more responsible tham Albanese? I certainly do. These attempts by Pauline, Barnaby, the Liberal party and Howard to make political mileage from this tragedy are ironically the ones most culpable for promoting division and racial hatred in our community.
Tallies with my experience. The amount of hatred towards Jews you see on Australian white supremacist pages is staggering. You know what I find cute coming from the right, about being big on antisemitism. Yes, the ALP of that period were not white supremacists. Some of the LNP weren't either.Let's be honest here, fundamentally, is One Nation very much different to what the LNP and ALP were circa 2001/2002 through to 2012?
Season's greetings to you sir.
David Oldfield was an Advisor to Tony Abbott while he was setting up One Nation with LNP member Pauline Zagorski.Yes, the ALP of that period were not white supremacists. Some of the LNP weren't either.
Sorry mate - yes that is incorrect. All of the LNP were white supremacists.
Pauline Hanson asks PM to overturn parliament suspension after burqa stunt
One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has asked prime minister Anthony Albanese to overturn a temporary ban from the Senate so she can participate in debate surrounding new legislation on hate speech and a national gun buy-back scheme if parliament is recalled early.
The prime minister has said he plans to do so after the Bondi terror attack, possibly before the 26 January holiday. But Hanson was censured by the Senate and suspended from the chamber for seven sitting days in November after repeating her burqa stunt, meaning she would be unable to appear as the suspension is still in effect.
