Montana St QB was at Stanford as a backup/running QB last season. was at Syracuse before that.

A bunch of these kids will get NIL offers at FBS schools. some great plays by freshman in the game.

Illinois St had 7 blocked kicks this season. the kid who was the kicker today was only his 2nd game after the other dude got benched.

Nothing's going to improve until Congress steps in and sets up a system that makes contracts enforceable (and we all know how effective and timely Congress is...)

It wont take congress. most likely a players union and a proper revenue share with the schools on TV money. possibly even a salary cap

Gone are the days of Bama and UGA domination this is what everyone should want.

Its just now everyone is paying and its not under the table so more people are putting in money because there is no risk of being caught.

Not a surprise that the Big10 got so much better when NIL came in and the SEC isnt as dominate.

I dont see either of those things happening voluntarily, and wouldn't happen as the result of a lawsuit (like happened with allowing NIL payments).

If its not Congress in DC, it'd take the state legislature of a large state (I'm thinking California) and then others falling in line to get the process started

Thats how NIL started with California having a law saying they can be paid. but its hard to put the genie back in the bottle now. NIL was doomed the moment the NCAA allowed it to be uncapped and almost unregulated.

Should also be noted that Wisconsin is in a lawsuit with Miami for tampering last season.

But i think that was just one of the Badgers OL. this one will get messy.

I hope Washington win and there becomes a binding set of paperwork and leads to a players union.
