Another Trump appointee I have been hoping will get the chop for two months now after being very supportive of her appointment in the beginning. I have to admit now that you guys were right all along. She is truly terrible.

does anyone else feel like Nail is trying to tear his tongue from the pole? Or at least trying to appear like he wants his tongue off it?

She's terrible because she's carrying out Trump's instructions, to the letter.

Of all the delusions MAGA engages in, this one is perhaps the most obvious and definitely the funniest. Imagine disliking Pam, Kash and co's actions but being fine with Trump himself, and pretending they aren't doing exactly what Trump tells them to do :drunk::tearsofjoy:

Its the 2nd one.

Its getting very hard to run defense for Donnie in every instance, even for the cult. They'd like to appear to be semi coherent, vaguely functional adults, but still being cultists they can't straight up turn on dear leader.

So they have to pretend Pam, Kash etc are the ones ****ing stuff up and that they aren't just doing exactly what Trump tells them. Its all very transparent.

Yeah I remember when you used to spam love emojis on all the Bondi posts.

Which seemed weird at the time, because we know she wasn’t your first crush (Trump)

He's not far away from a new account IMO. This is just the last flurry before death (or deactivation).

This one is cooked; everyone knows he supports sexual abusers if they say things he likes.

He'll start a new one and pretend it's definitely not the exact same poster.

Steve Bannon in today’s Age is quoted that that the MAGA mob were dismayed by Australia’s response to Covid with lockdowns, vaccinations etc.
Well, according to worldometers.info, deaths per 1m population were 3,642 in the US and 937 in Aus.
Based on the 2021 Census, that’s 68,800 extra Australians alive that could have died based on the US approach.
Dismay is an ignorant and uninformed response.

Yeah but those people didn't actually die so our response was a failure, or something.

Or those that would have died were just old, or sick, or sinners, or whatever, so they don't matter anyway.

It's not something you can really discuss with a Bannon type. They'll simply ignore anything any expert says.

There's definitely things that could have been done better by the various levels of Government, and plenty of times small sections of the public ****ed it up for everyone else.

Taiwan had a ready-to-go system involving immigration linking to healthcare so that they could manage entry and quarantine risks immediately. We had nothing.

It must be taxing being in the #fellforit gang, thats the only sympathy I can muster up

This is why Democrats are a good chance of winning back seats and control of house in mid terms.

Democrats ran defense for Biden when he didn't know which was the left and right of stage and said he had full faculties.

for Trump, nobody knows if he invades Greenland or not.

Feel something might happen tomorrow after Trumps speech in Davos, he is taking 300 delegates with him.

Trump seem intent on cutting lots of US ties with other countries that were formed over many years.

Trumps board of Peace - launched in Davos offered to 60 countries (including Canada, Australia, Russia)
More broad than just middle east conflict.
Aim to resolve conflicts as they arise.
Proposed to replace the UN in resolving conflicts

This is going to fail spectacularly i think.

Said 'board of peace' has a charter that specifically names Trump as Chairman in perpetuity, unless removed by the executive board where he is able to name the executive board of his choosing, dismiss the board at any time, and override the board whenever he likes.

It's not uncommon for US Presidents to get the 'protest vote' against them for the midterms, especially during a second term. IIRC the vast majority of second term presidents have lost the house in the last 50 years.

The Dems problems are that they are weak, and there is no consensus leader.

The real issues are under the surface - Denmark have a fund that are divesting from US Treasury holdings. US$100m is barely a blip on the radar when you compare it to the massive US debt, but if it opens the pathway to an assymetric solution to fight back against US aggression it won't take much to blow up US fiscal policy.

Yeah I always find that weird about US politics, I'm used to there being an opposition leader under our system. I kind of thought initially after DT won we were going to hear a lot from Bernie Sanders which we did at the start, like you say they're a headless chook at the moment.
