I think our harder draw sees us fall back a little and we will benefit from top ten finals. Hopefully finish 8 and host a game v 9th. And then go on road and win a couple ideally in Melbourne at mcg

Top 6, ticking off our first home final and get to the semis would be progress for me, especially with a much harder fixture than last year.

This is about where I sit too. That fixture is as hard as we have ever had (To be expected with our highest finish).

We really need to capitalise on the first 6 or so games and work ourselves into the season with confidence.

I feel we're still trending upwards and a home final should be the expectation.
We were only a game outside 4th place last year and we should improve on that this year.
Hopefully that extends to a prelim (or Grand Final) appearance.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

One accurate kick in the most poorly umpired game in Gold Coast existence over in Adelaide.

Yeah that one really stings.

Never one to really over analyse the umpires. But that was bad. Maybe it's because I was there amongst the feral crowd. Not sure. Never bothered to watch the game back

I am pretty sure, we never played hard tag under Dimma. I don't expect him to change his view on tagging.

On the other hand, opposition will have hard time to decide who to tag.
Yeah Dimma doesn't like tagging. Gives the option though.

Anderson will get tagged. Rowell is too inside. Maybe Trac.

Petracca and Miller roaming around, rotating mid-play to throw oppo structures out while Anderson, Rowell, Humphrey and Graham go to work is super tasty.

Would still like to test King up the ground at this time of year given the tall stocks we have.

Walter still growing?
Walter improved to kick over a goal a game in 2025, just his second season in the league, and has grown again since the conclusion of the Suns' historical campaign, eclipsing his listed 195cm height, according to Grigg.

I had in my phone that there was some Footy Show going to Broadbeach this weekend. Does anyone know anything about this?
