The salary cap is a joke isn’t it! Really it’s about time AFL vic acknowledged as such .
The points system is a waste of time .
It would be interesting to do a retrospective analysis of AFL vic finishing positions of clubs over all leagues since 2010 and see if anything has changed ?
As a previous small business owner, why would you donate money to fifo a football player ?

Well what do you want them to do? At least its a deterrent especially for wang. The points system needs readjusting, but plenty of people tend to forget that just prior to the points system, that metro clubs had 3 times the ability to spend over country clubs, ammos was full of ex afl in premier division and we had the circus of 10+ playets follow a coach all over the country and ruin clubs when tney left

Surely he’s not getting that to play development/reserves? But sometimes it’s the way to go offer everyone cash per Senior game only and create an environment where they are happy regardless as well as most importantly looking after your locals and one pointers! It’s hard work and a good Junior base helps( as well as great volunteers which is becoming much harder) but if you aren’t flush with cash it’s the way to go

Really need to stop throwing stones from Glass houses RR, your cats spent over the cap in TDFL & still missed finals LOL. Corowa were coming from a long way back, may of only won 3 games but they gave plenty of teams a scare

Only thing Rutherglen has over Corowa is that it's all 3 pubs are better than any in Corowa

Albury will struggle with points if they have a full squad, it might mean a big signing plays at 12 as a 4+ pointer, so i dont theyll do it for free

To get those guys to sign, there would be plenty of ego boosting about how they will move the needle. To then play twos, I reckon would quickly change their want to be at the club- regardless of money. As I alluded to Bedford, mail about that as many as four recruits from district clubs have departed

55 goals, 22 senior games, 9 times in the best for 2025 as a 19 year old. O&M representative in a side that demolished the GV and in that sides best 5 on the day.

I actually think self confidence is a key ingredient if you want to be great and I love the honest answers! Kid has something lots of others don’t!

Lavington should drop back this year due to their outs but it's only due to their top liners moving to the VFL which the club should be commended on. It's catch-22 because you want to be a club that develops elite talent but losing the likes of Hart, Newton, Costello, Perryman and Glanvill to the VFL ruins any chances of going deep into September.
