Half-time observations from a stream that started getting choppy in the final minutes
  • Blue team should be up by a lot. It's hilarious and worrying that they aren't. It seems obvious that orange team is full of guys who 'want' it more.
  • Curtis, Hardeman, LDU, Sheezel, and Bailey Scott (lol?) in my bests for blue.
  • Urqs, Goad, Fisher, and Whitlock in my bests for orange.
  • Guys who would want to lift include Powell, Logue, Stephens, Duursma, and Comben.
  • While I get that people want to see blue team dominate (and I do as well), it's equally hilarious that a couple people are melting down over this.
  • Cooper Harvey being played in defense was probably necessary because of how stacked our forward line is. But I am not confident he'll see much AFL action at that position either.
  • FOS shown some good signs but want him to get the ball more.
  • Zurhaar been decent. Sprayed a set shot though.
  • Zac Becker looks like he's in pole position for the SSP gig.
  • Want to see a bit more from Colby.
  • Want to see a bit more from Dovaston.
  • Meh.

Montagna in the commentary says that the left of screen has a wind.
Yes, it’s blowing quite a bit to that end, towards the pocket on the Macaulay Road side of the ground. But very gusty - half the time it’s still, then a gust of wind pops up.

Honestly we all read to much into it. I don’t want most of the blue team running a game out anywhere near 100%. They clearly aren’t. #1 no injury.

I don’t like disposal by blue team for big chunks. Wind seems to be playing on it though.

Players that are impressive and there are a few.
Matlock has continued some form. Leading well and taking afew marks. Much more positive.
I have criticised Dawson but think he has looked abit better today. Attack abit better.

RHJ has stuck a couple of tackles and is something that will help his game.

JK getting the shots not finishing.

Urqs has some great assets and I think he can make it in out team. We don’t need all the mids to be ball winning machines. I think he can play an important role for us.

George not injured is great. Running out the game would be good.

Sheez and LDU look really strong. FOS aswell.

Can't watch - thanks for the details.

#65 Mitch Grumley has had his way. Dominated the second quarter.

#56 Matthew Keast very slick kicking inside 50.

#39 Zac Becker is playing his way into an AFL spot.

May of but i certainly did not when he burst out the center and slammed one through from 50
That was a good one but I reckon he got a gust. Standard kicking motion and it went 58m. Was nice to see him running and having a ping though. He's quicker than I thought

If Becker gets a gig, you'd say he would take the Harvey spot in defence. Looks like a defence-first type competitor which we probably need.

Standard intraclub though. Happened last year. Guys who know they'll get a spot just trying not to get injured vs guys wanting an AFL lifeline/spot in the 1s. Tends to make for even teams.

The problem is when the former carries into the home and away games
