Fortunately they've run with the exceedingly relaxed and non-dramatic phrase of 'learns his fate' to describe a player being cleared of a mild offence in a scratch match. Where would we be without sports journalists
Won’t somebody think of the nepotism children!

How many have you had tmb? I was asked which nation had been in a 150 year war was with the Russian Empire. Of course the answer was Litchenstein but under the bright lites of Suncorp Park I just froze and next thing I was forced into a rice bath 🥶
Just gonna say it, better than Clokey.

Just a random thought. Is there any chance Chom could be looked at as a back up ruck option for Centre bounce. Goad is injured and not physically mature enough. I have no faith in CCJ. Xerri will be a good round the ground ruck but not really for centre bounces as he doesn’t like to leap. Chom is 199cm, has a good leap and seems to be over his injuries.

$1.01 to break something in the first six rounds if played there.

His bones are seemingly made of dust. Having a 105kg 205cm ruckman driving his knees straight into his body seems like a recipe for disaster for mine.

It needs to be Trembath, he has a fantastic leap.

The last two years Choms played 19 and 20 games. So definitely seems to building resilience. I saw Trembath beat Goad convincingly in a centre bounce in the first intraclub. But he’s only 193cm and yet to prove his body can stand the rigours of an afl season.

He’s managed to be out there more but he’s clearly been battling injuries at times that have certainly had an impact on his performances.

Didn't Charlie play half a year with a broken shoulder?

He needs to be playing VFL if we want to be a serious threat in that competition.

He is hilarious. Even when the game was on the line and the Pies were surging into the F50 in the last, he tried to take mark of the century and succeeded only in bowling over a pack of six players and letting the ball run out the back where Blamires had to win us the game.

You can see his confidence shattering as the dodgy moments compound.

Dunno what the fix is, but we know now he's not the titan we hoped. Probably a positive that he'll be playing his 50th soon, all being well. Continuity can't be a bad thing
I suspect he Would be looking forward to corr coming back so he isnt the only bloke out there with a single figure iq.

Wasn't sure where you were going with this at the start of the sentence, but you finished with a bang. FWIW I reckon Corr will be lucky to get his body right to have even a handful of games this year. Just think he has hit that point.

If Chom does not deliver in the backline this season, my prediction that he'll turn into our whipping boy in 2027.

Had some shocking moments today.

Has no excuses moving forward does Chom. He knows his position and role as a KPD and intercept marker. Is competing with Wil Dawson for a spot in the side.

He’s our whipping boy now.

There was no excuse as to how lost he looked today. And it’ll only get worse against better opposition.

The Ben Kings and Sam Darcys of the world will be laughing if we send this bum to them. It’ll be Josh Bruce all over again.

I hope he

I think it’s unfair to anoint him a whipping boy, as it implies that the criticism is not fairly warranted.

His last two performances have been absolutely shizen, and I winced whenever he was near it today (particularly in the third term). If he isn’t able to positively impact the contest (ie mark the footy, position the spoil so it’s somewhat in our favour) then he’s just a liability… has very little defensive craft if his marking ability/ confidence isn’t there
