Love the voice acting in this game. Grace and Victor specifically. Victor legit sounds like Heath Ledger's joker.

Spencer's heel face turn is something I didn't see coming and there will have to be a retcon of Wesker's interaction with him in the RE5 remake as a result. Speaking of Wesker, the big bad being his clone doesn't make a whole lot of sense right now and I cant help but think his inclusion was to get people used to Wesker again. The next remake will likely be Resident Evil 5, and then after that they will likely remake Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica, Wesker is seen in those games also.

No RE5 remake.

Been reports and leaks that Code Veronica remake will get announced later this year with a release in the first half of 2027 apparently Capcom have been developing Code Veronica along side Requiem. They have developers from RE 2 and RE 4 remakes working on it

Also RE Zero is apparently getting a remake too.

I've been watching bits of this on YouTube, it looks so good and I really want to play it but I think it's way too scarwy for me 🥺👉👈. Or maybe try some of the mods I've seen online already that replace monsters with Shrek, Thomas the tank and CJ 😆

I’ve read that people think it’s the scariest RE game. Might just be me but I’ve not found this one that scary at all and have been playing at night with the headset on, there’s a few moments that’ll make you jump.

Personally felt more on edge in RE7.

I worked out what it was a while ago. It's not that I can't do "scary" stuff, I love the horror genre, it's the stress reaction of being stalked that tends to happen more so in horror games. I can do psychological horror, jump scares don't phase me, but the moment something is stalking or hunting me I get overwhelmed by the anxiety. Even one of the ending missions of Cyberpunk's Phantom Liberty triggered this reaction and that wasn't even horror.

**** that’s hilarious. Even I might stop pussying out and play the game in 1st person with that mod.

Literally the best way to describe it for me as well.

Hence knowing I wanted to play the game but still being undecided on if I should until the last two days before release. I couldn’t put both Grace and Leon in 3rd person quick enough when the option presented, despite the game telling you that it’s best to play as Grace in 1st person. I probably stuffed the experience a bit for myself.

I’d find that scarier 😂

The stalking in this isn’t too bad, it’s not a creepy stalk, where you know they’re around and have eyes on you but you can’t see or hear them, that’d freak me out.

100%d the game.

best RE game i've played. the horror feels genuinely terrifying (aka grace sections) and Leon's sections remind me of RE4 so much that it's brought me back to play the original RE4.

perfect

Completed it.

Very good game. Graphically amazing and it ran really well.

Thought the first half of the game was sensational, but waned a little towards the end?

Still, very very good game.

Only annoying thing is I followed a guide for shooting all the racoon statue's and I never got the achievement. Must've missed on somewhere.

there's a few hidden in leon's sections (like the sniper gallery and the motorbike section). i missed 6 in my run through.

The first half of the game was a top 5 gaming moment for me. A game has not made me feel that way in a long time.

I really wish Grace sections are just the whole game, but I guess if they did that, they’d have to probably give the player more weapons like in RE7 which ruins the intention of these sections a bit, which is to feel outmatched in the unknown.

If the Leon RE4 action sections (which are still great, better than 90% of games that come out) is the trade off to get those Grace sections, then so be it.

the intention behind the leon sections is a like "cool" off bit, lets the player refocus after the high tension sequences in grace's section (ie: leon and the chainsaw at the start, after the first part with the girl

I will say I really really like the Leon sections. They are just as good as RE4 and are quite unique rather than just being that game again.

It’s just that Graces sections are on another level imo.
