Not sure how we are entitled. I personally think the loyalty of our fan base is impressive given we have been garbage for 25 years. There are always a few bad apples.

I reckon it's actually healthy for supporters who've been without success for over 30 years, to have that safe place to honestly vent frustrations.

I don’t really understand what we’re trying to do structurally.

Voss always defaults to “contest” and “pressure”, but effort is only as good as the structure behind it. You can’t apply pressure if the opposition have easy outs every time the ball spills out of the contest.

At the moment we seem to get sucked into the contest and leave free players on the outside.

Last year it felt like the issue was the defensive side of stoppage. Against the Swans they just waltzed through the front.

Are our half-forwards meant to be manning up the outlets? Are the half-backs instructed to pressure the front of stoppage? If they are, it's not working.

Surely when we’re getting beaten in the contest we can adjust the structure a bit to absorb some of that ball movement instead of letting sides just walk it out.

Does Voss just stand in front of the group and say “give me more contest and pressure, MOAR!!!”?

With Davies and Wright bringing a new level of transparency, maybe we’ll actually get some insight into what we’re trying to do.

I think they are a real blow to Voss’s credibility.

You rarely hear anything that honest from a very recently retired player, but is it anything everyone didn't already know?

We need to be dominating contested ball and clearances to be competitive, as soon as teams beat us in that area or even vaguely even it up they destroy us on the outside with superior skills and run every time. The only way we can win is via hard grinding contest dominance, and its not sustainable across a game or a season.

There are way too many footy shows/podcasts out there these days. Don’t share stuff like that with people who look for every bit of attention they can get.

I beg to differ. For a guy who is usually well spoken it was pretty unedifying. Using expletives while providing absolutely no suggestions about what could be done better is pretty average no matter what the forum.

Yeah I heard him say that which I find hard to believe, and very naive at best. Unless it’s a private conversation I think he should’ve assumed going on to a podcaster's show he could expect his comments to end up in the public.

He speaks like a champion because he is a champion player 100%..... one of the best captains to play the game no doubt.....Chris Fagan that has won 2 flags and hasn't played a game of AFL/VFL going for a trifecta this year, he can coach.....He is a master mind, makes the right moves at the right times, develops and selects the right team for the right occasions and rewards good form!!! Just because your a champion player and you talk the talk doesnt mean your a good coach, his tried and failed on multiple occassions like many more have done before him...We seen the shit show on Thursday night, and that is with new personnel too, clearly nothing has changed it was similar to last year opening round.....but this time Wright should be held accountable if it continues cause he backed Voss and hopefully he hasnt waisted another year!!!

What if the right guy wasn’t available? They clearly looked around, couldn’t find anyone they wanted long term, then decided to hold Voss to the last year of his contract with a fresh list and coaching staff. How are people not seeing this?
