I've changed my tip to Melbourne. :sickv1:

This board will never heard the end of it if we lose.
Talking in past tense already, now that's confidence.

Really? Odyssey was mad fun. I never played a donkey kong game except for the original.
Very inspired by "king of kong movie", i got really good at it!
I go all the way back to the original Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo was unreal.

Why do I actually feel invested today?
Because it's a clean slate. I feel invested too but without the pending sense of dread.

We might lose but I feel like if we're going to lose, we'll lose trying to win the game rather than lose trying not to lose the game.

Please be kind to me - I accidentally made that post on the draft and trade board the first time around.

Speaking of putting things on the wrong board, I’ve had an excellent week. I realised a few weeks back that the backyard of my new place has really high fencing and no climbable trees within leaping distance, and no discreet holes as exit points.

The only bit where it mightn’t be leap-proof is the side gate so I did an amateur DIY rigging up expanding lattice and strong grips between a down pipe and the fence so the cats can go out anytime they please, and they’re loving it.

Plus we all get to watch Caleb Windsor today. I’m going to go to the match but will leave the telly on for the cats

To watch his shoulders, yes?

Who could be mad or unkind to you? You're like a cross between Pretty Woman and Jack Sparrow. The perfect blend, a hooker with a heart of gold and a lovable rascal.

Haven't felt this excited since the 21 grand final... Let's go Melbourne demons!!!!
I been trying to remember what it's like to be say 24 points up with 9 minutes to go and trying to do the scenarios in ya head whether you can feel safe or not

I was wondering if id completely fallen out of love with the game but I'm keen

Would you like to borrow my Clayton Oliver lucky socks?

Ahh oliver socks, donate them to a desperate 14 year old boy
I’ve already junked them TBH. Their luck had drained off anyway - wore them for the last Saints match. Never again.

Pretty sure I wore my Harlequin socks for the West Coast game where we promptly fired Goodwin, so I’m going with them.

For me the Neeld/Bailey/Roos era were some of my favourite moments as a supporter. I'm a grown up and respectable member of the community now but back then I was garbage; Sunday 1.10 was my prime time because I could head out on the Saturday night and head straight to the G from what people used to call "kick-ons" (no idea what young people call it now, when I was young we'd just called it the weekend). Belligerent arseh*le to anyone in my vicinity whatever the score line was. Dees would sometimes sneak a win and lose your voice screaming bullshit at whichever team you snuck up on. High-fiving random strangers on Swan Street after the game. Best times.

Haven't missed not going to the footy in years, keen as now. Gonna be so much fun when our kids jag some wins.
