As an East Freo Fan, absolutely chuffed for the fella on his debut today.....long over due, and the WCE fans can see why Murdock is/was a favourite of many at East Freo.....never takes a backward step, despite his lack of cm and kgs.....you guys have got a beauty here, wish both parties all the best in the coming years....don't think I will be seeing Murdock in an East Freo jumper again.

I remember listening to an East Freo podcast called 'Shark Tales' where Murdock was interviewed.....he mentioned Mason Cox and said he was looking forward to winding up the big fella when EF played Peel....will have to happen now when WCE play Freo.

Like I said, never takes a backward step, that was typical Murdock....hard tackle and big smile on his face....and yeah Mac is a peanut

I’ll admit I was a skeptic about his selection and whether the WAFL form would translate at the top level. Outstanding debut with 2 goals. Certainly plenty to build on.

Love him. Genuinely pleased for him, based on the debut video and the way the guys got around him and today after his first goal, seems to have made a great impression.

Someone like he and TMac, who have come through the hard way, dealt with being rejected/overlooked and going undrafted but persevered to get their chance will be invaluable to the young guys for whom drafting was a fait accompli - the sense of perspective and life experience so to speak that they can pass on to help them deal with adversity.

If it was so obvious how well he'd go at ALF level how did it take a season ending injury to a fringe player 2 weeks before the start of the season to get him on the list. 2nd highest rated player in the team isn't worth a throw as a rookie in November? Please.

ALF level is different to AFL level. Just look at the energy he brings
