He was one of the worse performers in the side along with Konstanty, but I thought he was more involved than the stats suggested watching the replay back.
I'd be reluctant to drop him because he looked invested, contributed to a team win, laid some good tackles and kicked a ripper goal in a game that should help him get some of his mojo back that he had when he started with us.
I would make minimal changes to a winning team.
Sometimes coaches have to back in players who are a big part of the future to keep building on those positive moments at AFL level despite fluctuations in peformance, and he's one that can impact on the bench who likely gets low TOG%.
I could see him having break out games against WCE and *, especially playing against his brothers and potential suitors.

Clarkson needs to give him a block of 4-5 games if possible, let him incrementally improve every week.
Hoping Blamires stays in too for my supercoach side.
Keep averaging a goal a game and contribute on defense and score assists then we are all happy with where he is tracking

You just want him experienced and match-fit for when he requests a trade to Essendon at the end of this season.

I see through your charade.

A lot of Ess supporters dreaming that he wants to come go to them because his average brother plays there.
Same as saying Colby will leave for tassie because he's from there. Pipe dream

I'm not sure we try again this year.
We will have an early pick and maybe a second round NGA kid. and need to keep picks for 2027 draft for Bewick, Darwish and Rodan.

It's gonna be a direct swap. Nate Caddy is coming home to North and Zane will go home to Essendon.

Fair's fair.

I can see North going after Mitch Lewis or Amartey as they are both free agents and wont cost you anything and likely will come for opportunities.

A trade for Caddy would cost 2 early first rounders and a quality player.
And he is basically Essendons only hope at this stage.

EFC trading out Caddy and Merrett would be akin to shutting up shop.

And Caddy wouldn't entetain the offer.

You can have Merrett?

I'm trying to find that photo of a young Nate Caddy in a Boomer 427 guernsey but it appears to have been scrubbed from Google...

How mysterious...
