Fishing - Yeah, there was an overfishing problem. But we're gonna allow people to fish again anyway.

South Australia for South Australian's - Let me just quickly contradict mumma Hanson's federal policies quickly. Everyone's equal, and everyone deserves equal rights, no matter your gender, or country of origin.

Energy - We got it, so use it (who cares that it'd **** the environment, and cost twice as much as renewables). While also scaremongering saying 'we dont want SA 2016, or Iberia 2025 happening again' (Ignores the fact that their idea has the potential for Japan 2011 - And you thought the Algal Bloom was bad)

Education - Teachers are brainwashing our children. (Seriously read, their policies, they're saying that in it)

Forestry - Fwiw, most of this sounds good.................But it contradicts their own energy policies

Law - (Quietly admits that Labor's doing a good job) but we're going to reform it anyway

Local governments - Councils are undemocratic. And if you read between the lines, they're complaining about them becoming woke.

Firearms - Everyone deserves the right to bare arms. Oh, I'll also take a quick shot at Labor for being anti-semetic, while being Islamaphobic myself.

Housing - We have no policy to fix it on a state level. We'll leave it to the feds.

Health - Labor and Liberals can't fix ramping. But we dont know how either. We think we have an idea, but we'll have to assess it in 5 years time.

Far right dont like education because modern education incorporates a lot of critical thinking. They want blind allegiance and trust.

I really want to see what their how to vote cards look like.
If it's true that they're just saying 1 (One Nation) and then in fine print saying (do everything else however you want) - I can see them winning 0 seats as the brainwashed cesspool which is one nation voters accidentally do informal votes by not filling out their form correctly.

I normally vote below the line for upper house and go the whole way from 1 to whatever.

My fear is this is just like early 1930s Germany (Oh, yeah, they want to get rid of History in school so you dont see the similarities. Only ENglish, Math and Science matters apparently) Replace Jews with Muslims and Hitler with Hanson and they're saying the same shit to get into power.

Bottom line is Australia's students educational results when compared to other countries, reading, maths and science scores have continued to fall behind quite a few other western countries. Universities especially have become hot beds of Political confrontations.

youi know why you dont talk politics because kids are only going to regurigate arguments my dad said...then it can turn into them going home and repeating me telling them their dads an idiot. So best to just change the topic. Same with any issue that does not relate to schooling.

I don't know about woke but today's teachers are far far more a political beast than ever before. The evidence supports this.

Teachers arent sitting their lecturing kids on woke issues. facts dont support that at all. Kids have always been progressive because of the school dynamic. University generally just is just an extension. But when i was at uni recently not once was there a single discussion on anything woke let alone politics. Not even in and around university. You have to specifically look for it.

to be clear about the nature of the accusations that teachers are brainwashing kids we really need to put it through the logic test.

The main extension to that argument is modern woke universities are creating this.

1. A majority of teachers finished their university education at a minimum 20 years ago with less university students taking it up than ever before.

It is highly unlikely young 20 something teachers are walking into schools and lecturing their 20 year experienced peers and those same peers just go

'bi golly you are onto something, im going to waste what presious little classroom time I have lecturing woke politics.'

2. Directions come from government. The state government controls the education department and the education department controls state schools like an iron hammer. state governments control school policy. so what you are seeing when you hear trans toileting in school issues is its not the school, its not the education department its the government and the school has no choice but to comply.

99.9% of this stems from the want to avoid negative pr and to not be sued. So please can we stop with the bullshit teacher bashing.
