4 years for Buku please. As other posters have mentioned, this form is real. It's been built over a long time. Let's get him locked up like some of our colleagues from the GDT.
He did it against talls and smalls last night.
Absolute priority signing.

I reckon it’s always been between the ears for buku. Has always had the talent , elite athletic profile. Look what he’s doing with a bit of confidence. Love the bloke

I don't agree. I don't recall him ever having the same defensive craft that he has displayed over our first 4 games this year (including the Hawthorn scratch match). He could always take a mark, whether in attack or defense, but he appears to be a more complete defender now with his spoiling, ground balls and general defensive craft. It was clearly a big focus over the preseason which he's benefited from.

Buku Khamis two year extension tomo

His closing speed is way better this season
A few times I thought he was out of position against Rankine but managed to get in at the last second and spoil

Buku is also looking to be more aggressive when he gets the ball. Last year it was more like he’d get the ball and hold it to his chest and play for a ball up. This year so far he looks like he wants the ball in his hands.

Completely agree on the ground balls. He’s always been a good long kick, but used to panic and almost just hug the ball to his chest when getting the ground ball. In contrast he was very composed in general play last night.

fargy sorry just saw you said exactly the same.

Port supporter dislike for us is through the roof right now. They are getting involved in all dogs threads having a go.

Butters has not even declared he wants to come to the dogs and they're going off
So maybe don't go posting on their board. There is no way they will agree to anything a Dogs fan has to say.

Agree. I don't post on opposition boards. If you write something positive it's viewed as condescension. If you write anything that doesn't agree with their narrative you are regarded as a troll. Avoid.

I did congratulate the Saints on their board for beating Melbourne after the siren last year. Exceptional circumstances 😉

Lachie Smith out of contract this year, sadly I cant see him getting another one given our numerous mobile 200cm players & the new ruck rules . Not sure he'll find another AFL club either .

For those who know more than me (almost everyone).

1. When does the U18 comp begin?
2. What teams have someone linked to us playing in them?

Thanks in advance.

I remember thinking when he signed the 1-year extension that it was a smart move by him given his development curve and the general long-term security afforded to big men - see Tom Campbell still being on a list. However the new ruck rules have an enormous impact on his style of play and so I think you’re right here.

Wrong he has, he wasn't just a average young player if I remember, made the AA under 18 side from memory.

He is getting a few give and gets also I have noticed

I reckon any of Croft, Emmett and Will Darcy have a great physical make up, skillset and competitive attitude to make a great kpd. Just need a couple of preseasons.

Fair play to Sam Power, our list is in rude health.
Dare Kane say it….the best list in the AFL?
