With the team Collingwood played this round I'd bring in ZZ and Joyce for Dizzy and Noah. Free up Lester for Elliot

Then I wouldn't mind Gallop making way for someone to bring in some extra run. Possibly Marshall or Tunstill
Don't mind that, although I did like the look of Gallop down back as a break glass option.

Shadeau Brain could be an option for Noah as well.

If we need a long term replacement I'd probably invest games into Brain but I don't think hes done enough to be an automatic inclusion for him

I will pay a journo 5 grand for the first question to Ross to be “so, academy players Owens and Windhager played pretty well?”

Missed it cos ressies. Any good?
First quarter - poor
Second quarter - average
Third quarter - average but slightly better
Last quarter - excellent

Getting up the same time as I do for work to attend a pre-game event on a Saturday feels like it should be against the Geneva Convention.
Spoken like a person who may/may not be ageing and concerned about how to manage your celebrations into the wee hours of a Sunday. 🥃🦁

Meritorious win in the end after an awful first half.

Especially with two defenders down and the ridiculously early time slot. The game start of 12.35 was 11.35 Brisbane time, a fact touched on by Dunks post -match. That surely had to be harder for our guys to adjust to than the locals.

And didn't Motty stand up brilliantly in the last quarter?

Berry outstanding for four quarters and Linc was all class, showing his true worth when it counted.

Draper almost took too huge marks in the first half and the dropped a soda in the last quarter. Also ruck work wasn't great but I believe he should be cut some slack. He has to be to be very rusty with only two games under the belt after a long layoff. And he does crash packs making the ball spill to ground.

After a scrappy close struggle, we showed who was boss when it really counted.

Now let's go and squash those Pies next Thursday
