Heffernan- Moorcroft is more memorable
Does anyone even remember that Russian played 5 magnificent games for Essendon?

Weideman 17 games for a 7-10 win loss record! What Essendon would give for that sort of win loss ratio these days. I always said when they sacked Weideman it would be the beginning of the end.

100% this, they thumped the Dee's last year in Adelaide 96 to 57. I hope the team are all watching replays of that game.

Fascinated to see what the in's and out's are for this week.
Gawn and Melksham in post-game interviews both mentioned Essendon having won in gather round previously so it's clearly on the players' minds.

On forgotten players, Moorcroft played 3 games in one season. McAdam is currently in his 3rd season and is on 3 games. Can he get passed him?
Imagine he just got fit for the back end of the season and just dominated with our new style

It's a shame that he's become a bit of a meme to Dees fans. When he's had a good run at it body-wise (not often), he's looked like a really handy player. I was really happy when we got him lol

Whats the go with Rivers ? . Not listed as injured , didn't play for Casey , seems to have vanished.
Complete speculation but it's starting to sound like "hamstring awareness"

Been carrying a knee niggle. Been mentioned by King a few times now. The way it's been talked about it seems maybe not enough to call it an 'injury' but it impacted his form. Think the plan was to rest him and get it right, hence not playing at all, wouldn't be surprised to see him in this week.

I liked seeing Weid in the dees rooms with the Melbourne scarf on a couple of weeks ago though after the Carlton win.

**** Essendon, we will win this.

I’ll be having a few bevs and watching the game, then slowly get ready and head to a party full of Essendon supporters….
If we win then to me it’s the perfect time slot hehe
Couldn't decide which was more appropriate, so have both

Will Tom Sparrow be able to hold Merrett to 37 touches again or will he break the tag and go for 45 this time?

Please don't go with the tag again Kingy 🙏
To be fair, Essendon is one of the few sides tags are effective against given they literally have nobody outside of Merrett.

Don't put Tholstrup in CBAs, but not against him tagging Merrett around the ground, similar to what we were doing with Touk for parts of last week.

Since we're doing lots of fun new things under King, it'd be nice to properly put away a shit side early in the game and pile on a big score.
Yeah, given WBD couldn't even fully smash the dons it would be pretty impressive if we just controlled this game for 4 quarters more or less.

We also need a % boost.

How’s Rivers been going at VFL level? A chance to get picked soon?

I’ve followed him closely for a few years now. Just seems strange he isn’t playing. Could be more to it.
