AFL Player 26: Archer May - MCL injury (minor), listed as test

I was keen on chasing Jed Walter last year when his name popped up, and I see there's still talk about going after him.
Now I'm not so sure. Will be worth looking at their respective numbers at season's end. May looks like he can be our FF with Caddy at CHF, but I would just as happily play May as forward /ruck, Walter FF and let Caddy roam between half way and the arc, giving us more marking power in the corridor and on the wings.

I like what I've seen from May. So much upside as a young forward, too.

May is much better contested player than Wright, who seems to be relishing his freedom around the ground. May halves a lot of contests which is stopping opposition interceptions and gets the ball to ground.

Like the structure with May, Caddy & Edwards. Much less predictable and more mobile. Langford was good in defenive position.

Forward line has looked better when Wright and Langford aren't in it and he is one of the reasons why.

Would like to see if we can get a full season of Edwards/Caddy/May and see how it evolves

Good signing.

Floor: solid KP depth.

Ceiling: May + Caddy = McKay + Curnow (this should be the blueprint).
Angry Clint Eastwood GIF

Roughead + Buddy preferably.

Regardless of what you guys think of Carlton, Curnow and McKay circa '21 to '23 was a premiership quality KP duo, it was the rest of the team that let them down.
You could have picked any forward duo in history and you went with that
