Where does that put Yarra? Can they still play finals?
After 2 rounds I feel Wang x 2, Myrt & Lavi should all be there. Albury, Yarra & Dogs fighting for 5th
Yarrawonga are ordinary. A busy team with a few jets but they are nowhere near the glory days of yesteryear. The loss of Masters is of course huge but they are in the mire big time

They have a fair few 30yo+ older guys & a lot of young kids 18-20yo, but not many in the middle age bracket.

Early days. Two from three and a close loss to Myrtleford. Yet to play at their own ground after three rounds and probably travelling better at this stage than expected. The next two rounds will give a much better picture

interesting round ,,must say a great effort by the sides that were losers on the day ,, I mean there could of been some big losses but no

Yarrawonga looking good for a big improvement on 2025,, will be a threat

What’s the issue at Albury? Are they just not putting a good side out on the paddock or are they just not gelling?

are they playing a defensive game plan ,,,I mean they are averaging a very low total score of 65 points a game so far,, so 9 goals 11 points a game ????
Think Newman needs to come in next match, Rake goes out to fit in the points

They attacked all day, I think the inside 50s ended up 47-43 or similar, North just kept breaking down entering forward 50. Won their fare share of clearances, Flynn Gardiner & Pope were excellent in defence & Hayes coming off half back.

Their forward line with Jack King, Callum Fisher, Cooper McIntosh & Darcy Cullen were up against it. Couldn’t fault their effort though.

Out of their 5 goals, only one was a ‘clean’ one, Broomheads mark and goal in the first term, the other 4 goals were 50m penalties x2, a free kick and a scrappy one on the goal line.

Their 3 best goalscorers are their 3 best midfielders, Broomhead, Penny & Rigoni.

Newman bagged 13 in the ressies on the weekend ,,,has had a back injury which has restricted him during pre season and actually did not play last week ,,,no harm in giving him a go
Yea they’ll have to play him soon. Clubs will be lining up for him before June 30.
