Some very home town decisions but given we were nowhere near our best and banged up, amazing to get so close. We'll be fine, these results happen at this time of year. Some good signs and Charlie gave us a goal of the year contender.

Losing Fort was huge and the difference. Draper just got absolutely towelled up by Gawn.

Pathetic umpiring. But end of day not surprised by the result. Demons play well against the Lions. Also Lions have just not been playing well this year at all.

Hopefully not too many injuries.

Votes to Logan, Charlie, Andrews and Gallop

Draper unlucky

Our 4 A graders on ballers let us down and Zac Bailey was pathetic

That play on goal from Morris. Understand if he was in front of the mark when he played on, but he had to move back off the mark to get back in play. Baffling!

That missed trip on Bailey
The dive called a block against Mcluggage.

The missed chopping the arms against Allen.

The score review that stopped Morris from scoring.

The 50m penalty against Lester.

We deserved to lose, but geez. Felt like between the umpiring and injuries we had our backs against the wall.

Frustrating loss, even more so on a big day for the club but not overly surprising either. We have a couple of these types of games every year where we rock up expecting to win, the opposition plays well and catches us on the back foot and we fail to get over the line.

Few players down on form from last year though, with the biggest worry I think atm the amount of injuries we are picking up. Possibly the amount of games we’ve played compared to others the last few years is starting to catch up to a couple?

Backs and forwards were ok all day. Mids so-so all afternoon. Zac wouldn’t wanna be meeting with any prospective buyers this week off the back of that game.

Recover and move on.

Frustrating af final quarter
-Mcclugage giving away a stupid free kick
-Morris passing it off to Bruce when he could’ve easily snapped on his left and Bruce missing
-Rayner missing the game winner

We looked physically spent in that game.
I wonder if all of the travel in the first third of the season is taking its toll.
