What about Impey as a POD?
His run to his bye is a massive green mile….

I was considering this but am put off by the "don't pick players from a team you support" rule. I got Macdonald in a couple of weeks ago and it affects how I watch Hawthorn games in a way I don't like.

I think this is a pretty okay POD to have. I had Amon and Impey at different points of last season and they both took up that role sometimes.

my two main concerns for this are: defense is one of the easiest places to score atm so is it going to give you a considerable difference? and 2 Hawks have a number of guys (like Amon or Sicily or Weddle) that they can shuffle around to be the distributor if a game changes and it's needed. eg I could see Freo having a fwd tagging role on him if he gets off the chain too much

also what's this source pls?
I seriously considered Amon or Battle this week. Battle gets a lot of marks and Amon takes the kick ins, but Sicily back this week. Just so many guys back there. Don't know how the distribution will go.

Decent week to find out..
Collingwood and Essendon are giving up the most 100+ scores.

Looking at the scale of hardness bettingonbetts posted, you'd want to hold Impey for the green run, then 1 red match up before another green run - StKilda, who we know aren't restrictive to defenders and Dogs before his bye.

I like trade ins that give the instant sugar hit. At least that way if anyone else jumps on after the sugar hit, they pay more, and fail with you if things turn sour. If all goes well, you got the player cheaper & a week earlier.

You could then trade him at bye week to Whit/Ash coming off their Rd 13 bye.

I don't have the cash to get up to Impey, unless I trade Kerch or J.Serong.
Could go Gothard or Grlj to Amon instead.

Battle could be a Wilkie-esque play. Maybe one of him/Amon/Impey could be a next week play as I don’t really need a defender this week

This has convinced me more than anything lol
Might have to do it and bite my nails when watching the game tomorrow night haha

It’s either between him, Dunkley and Newman this week. Think it’s worth taking a risk, like why not with this data presented and the green run.

I’ll let you all know when the game starts tomorrow if I’ve bit the bullet lol

So true hahahaha I am looking for Rach constantly when I bloody watch the crows
Last week I was furious with the loss and combination of not seeing Rach in centre bounces
Worried about the state of my tv at the end of the game tbh

Same here. Was in a weird feeling of either being pissed off by milera being the reason behind 2 early goals or happy he threw some on the boot for fantasy 🤣

I'd say there would be a lot of 'Limpey' related posts coming up this week, but... uhhhhhhhh

Just worried about Rach spudding again, proving he needs to be traded and dropping a ton of cash
Feel like it'd be quite a luxury to trade Rach. Has Port and Richmond in next 2, is capable of a score as good as any forward (maybe excluding Sheeze and Trac) in the next 2 weeks. Might save you a bit of cash to trade but could just as easily lose you points. Is that worth the trade? Or just try and hold until his bye and get rookies off etc.

Shouldn't really look at it as a "Should I jump off Rach?" but more like what's the opportunity cost of it (i.e. what other upgrade can you make)

Budarick -> Kozzie? Is my preferred trade this week tho I hate his matchup and would ideally get him next week. I just can't settle on anyone lower priced. Greene/Warner/Bailey/Sparrow/Bolton/MacDonald/Rankine/Yeo/Trac

Since Budarick is a donut, I'm assuming that gets a rookie off field? Even if Kozzie goes 80 you probably get a points upgrade, he won't lose that much cash (BE 99) and you'll have him for next week's WC matchup. There's plenty of value in mids you can then target next week because you then don't have to worry about grabbing Kozzie (Clug, Bont, Callaghan etc.)

as long as you're aware he probably won't get a pop score and will likely drop a little cash. If it saves you from getting him next week and you have a plan for someone else in mind next week, then I don't see the problem.

My kinda plan A is to get Kozzie this week and then move him into the midfield next week, whilst also then grabbing a value forward (one of the ones I mentioned that stands out again this week finally lol), rather than get a value mid next week, who are 100k more expensive than the value forwards, unless your name is Suitcase who has tog worries. Callaghan doesn't excite me with his ability to drop 60s at that price. Bont is still 150-200k more than the forwards
