Probably Goad’s best game.

the rest of them really only had ‘moments’. Happy to see Whitlock get more of the footy though.

Considering we had no afl mids and we played the cheats at their cheat ground (maggots too), we did as well as we could have. We had our chances, but couldn’t close.

Goad close to BOG. 19 disposals at 79%, 31 hitouts, 5 tackles, 1.0, 4 marks (2 contested) and 8 clearances. Bested Stanley.

It was a really good performance, we played an attacking game and ran the top side close on their home turf. Hope to see similar from the AFL side, with hopefully 4 points for us. Hardeman has to come in next week.

Quick VFL wrap up about our AFL-listed players. My own personal analysis, your opinions may differ.

Good
Hardeman (20 touches, good run and carry all day)
Goad (19 touches, 31 hitouts, and a goal. Very good game)
Pink (16 touches, looked the best KPD we had and it wasn't close)

Decent
Harvey (led all players with 32 touches, but was inflated by taking kickouts on a day Geelong were very inaccurate)
George (Good signs. Has a good leg. No goals today but 2 behinds. Decent, not great)
Whitlock (Some good moments and some poor moments. 2 goals, but also 3 set shots missed that should have been converted)

Not great
Konstanty (Didn't notice him at all in the 2nd half - to the point I'm wondering if he's tonight's match day emergency and he was pulled early?)
Dawson (Not great - had a couple wins towards the end of the game but was decidedly beaten for the 1st 3 quarters. Got nowhere near the footy in defense today, with 5 of his 7 touches coming in stints in the ruck)
Banch (Started the game pretty well, but absolutely disappeared as the game went on. Only 9 touches and 0 scores, only 1 tackle)
