Jaques is still averaging 75, can anyone comment on his poor score from the weekend, anomaly or has there been a role change at half back for the dogs that has impacted his ability to score. If I was to trade someone other than Dev Rob this week (i.e if I feel like holding a loop), I'll need to trade Jaques.

I still feel like holding onto him coz he finished with a 17 and a 22 point quarter and clearly has the biggest ceiling of him/Jagga/Grill

Yeah he's not a MUST trade but can't cop another 40. Should be ok this week hopefully for anyone that holds. But no one would be begrudged for upgrading to a premo def if you can

Here are my pre-team announcement trades. Currently running the Lombard/Dovaston F6/F7 omni-shamble. These two guys shore up my fwd line, so I can focus on mid and def upgrades over the next few weeks.

I really like Reid's short term match-ups so think he's a good chance to go toe to toe with any of the 'value' forwards.

Steene comes in for a few reasons: 1) he's a solid bench forward 2) he gives me flexibility to trade out one of my three rucks when I'm ready and 3) he still has money to make.

Keen to hear thoughts on my logic.

I wouldn't be targeting Reid at this price. Im a happy owner since r1, but he's really just a 78-85 range player I think. Not sure there's enough meat on the bone to bring him in now.

I reckon he's still value.
Freo have the best run for high fwds over the next month and a bit. If he can average 90 over that time he's matching the best of the rest of the forwards, and at a great price.

The money I save on bringing him in over Trac or Kosi (the only two fwds I expect consistent high scores from) now let's me strengthen my team elsewhere.

Cumming is the safest cash option available right now. Job security is solid and the BE sits at a level where he can keep generating cash through the bye. The issue is at $390k he's not cheap enough to get excited about the ceiling.

Worth tracking Lombard too. BE of 20 and Saints/Port/NM coming up is a genuine run if he gets consistent game time.

I'd argue Dyson Sharp with a B.E of 13 and possible DPP is now a better option.
I started him based on U18 numbers and it failed. (Traded out already). Could get going from here.

Completely avoiding asking about your suggested player in this list as that would take the innuendo to far.
