As the current renter in the #44, the 200 games is a massive achievement.... especially considering how he came to be pick 40 and the path he took to get there.

Thanks Scarlo....

Something about the number 44, HBF's and picks in the 40's really.

Crazy to think that since 1999, the Cats have had a HBF in the # 44... thats 27 years across 2 players.

Ridiculous.... thats also 4 flags, 11 AA's and 4 Carji's....

And CS went the current version of 44 is the best.... ( Reckon Boris might have had a giggle and said "hold my beer"

But all that adulation and respect has to be put to the side as the Pies will want the 4 points on Sat night and to rain on Stewys parade.

And to that point... bugger them.

Naicos and Pendles w=ill be getting all kinds of press - and fair enough... but Mullin will be ready. The umps will be watching closely so its gotta be clean and above board... but Oisin can be as hard as possible and make Naicos earn his 21 touches.

Same for Pendles. Get MOC tagging him as he'll be looking for another 40 plus touches... and if they both get them we are cooked.

Stanley is back to give Junk Edwards a spell - well earned - and Rhys should be toey as to have a good one in his debut.

We need the 4 points here and I gotta get back to work....

So.. a big one at the G for sure... no slipping over and be clean with the ball.

Execute clean and first options are good...

Pies can run and gun, our Kryptonite.... lets get it done

Heading up to this one and looking forward to it.

I'm expecting a tight game; they're disciplined, well coached and play for each other. They'll seek to stifle our ball movement and run from half back. We need to not get sucked in and bomb the ball long all night.

I can see the game breaking open towards the end of the third quarter and we must take our chances. Defence really needs to be switched on and not allow Elliott any space. He's their biggest danger up there.

Stanley will be fresh and has a good block of VFL games behind him. We will need to get a bit creative here, they'll have a plan to blanket our transition game.

Ultimately if we take our chances, our forward line should be too strong if we kick straight and get enough clean entries.

A very fair ( to both sides ) and accurate preview of the upcoming game

Miers Stengle Blicavs they are big outs plus Danger is slowly building to peak fitness , thus hard to know what we will get tonight

I think Atkins ( considering Worpel is also in the team - similiar type player ) has to get involved in the game right from the start and be influential - last week he was basically unsighted to h/t only 1 kick , his 3rd qtr was much much better , he has to do that from the word go tonight

Any ideas which end the cheer squad is at? And which Bays have GA seating?

The club used to include this in the Match Day guide, but not anymore

Punt Rd/Southern stand.

Collingwood bless them always have Ponsford end, home or away.

Aren't they cute.

I find the MCG website is the best for GA seating as they won't release that info until 24hrs before the match

And an easy thing to remember for H&A MCG games versus Collingwood - they're always in the Ponsford Stand

To be fair we have played them 7 times in finals since 2007.

The current record for most finals against each other - Geelong vs Collingwood at 26 matches, including 6 grand finals

Next on the list is Richmond vs Carlton at 23, and not sure when they'll next be adding to that
