Let's get this man into the team. His WAFL form is elite, his size is right, and he needs another taste of the big time.

Perfect opportunity to get some games into him and also show him that he's clearly earmarked as the successor with a role waiting for him at any moment.

I'll be seriously pissed if they go back to Omac instead. I wouldn't blame Davies for looking at his options at the end of the year if that was the case.

Yeah it is a disappointing selection decision. On current form, based on the opposition and with future considerations in mind. I quite like OMac but this is silly.

Have to say I have started watching Peel again the last two games and what I saw from Davies didn't match the hype. He was making far less errors and intercepting well. Man on man he didn't scream AFL at 11 volume.
Having to come in and play in the tallest defender role hmmm. If it was Ryan or Cox out I'd lean Davies because for you can shuffle the deck, or he goes straight into, the 3rd defender role. Pearce out you can't do that.
We're trying to win a flag. He just doesn't seem that clear cut a talent to play if the committee thinks a more experienced player can play a better role. Doesn't mean he won't make it or even be good. I'm just not seeing it as melt worthy. In fact it seems like melt chasing in that we brought in a 19 year old 4 gamer ahead of the teachers pet favourite whipping boy???

We really need to be grooming a replacement and given age profile that is Davies
