Trainor worries me. Not sure if he is lacking in confidence, but whenever he gets the ball im worried where it's going to go.

8 turnovers from 12 disposals. Went at 50% DE

Needs to get stronger in the core. And put some size on.

He doesn’t worry me, his best is phenomenal but when he makes mistakes his whole game falls apart. It’s either a really really good game or a really really bad game.

Compare that to Grlj who might be down one week but he’s not a liability. This is why I think he’s on a short leash from the coaches cos his bad games seem from him being rash and over confident more than anything.

To be fair, he has been pretty solid in that respect this year. After dislocating his thumb, I think he can be forgiven.

Toast:
Miller was great.
Ross is our most consistent player over 4 quarters. Gets better the longer he’s out there. Wouldn’t be opposed to him potentially as captain material.
Good debut by NRT.
Campbell and Green playing well and impacting.
Faul and Fawcett combined well.

Let me stew on the roasts for a little bit…

Smashed in all stats with an undermanned team. The defence deserves credit for keeping the margin down (-9 points after quarter time).

Miller 22 disposals 4 tackles 407MG 91% DE
Trezise 24 disposals 2 tackles 1 clearance 245MG
Vlastuin 21 disposals 11IP 91% DE
Broad 12 disposals 5IP 92% DE
Short 25 disposals 356MG 100% DE
Grlj 17 disposals 388MG 1GA 77% DE

He is a smartarse through and through. You can see nearly all of his mistakes come from seeing a play level above what he and his teammates can do - diagonal passes, sharp handballs, etc

This kind of player needs a hardarse coach and 3x more film time than any other player.

It's ironic that he's so obviously intelligent and natural, but overdoes it to the point that he's abysmal in every facet of the game

Best game plan I have seen for a while, no pressure let them kick it all round the ground to each other. Awesome.
poor comment considering the amount of injuries.... and our main concern will be get another preseason under our belt and get our best 30 available for selection before we can map out and seriously implement a workable game plan, good effort under the circumstances and my opinion is that ooze told them to treat this game like a very very important training drill and no fancy stuff, don't bite off more than you can chew, hone your skills under match conditions and when in doubt just slow it down and be safe.

Saints backs got away with a fair bit of pushing and shoving but up the other end similar or even less obvious we were penalised 4 times.

The difference between the tigers and Euro-Joke is we are going to have higher draft picks. With open cheating from the umpires gifting a minimum 5 goals, 19 injured players - 4-5 players that should not be in the team (we should be managing kids and resting Veterans), Euro-joke should have absolutely belted us. They look nothing like a finals side.

Clearly restricted by who we can field in the side - anyone with a pulse at this rate - we can't manage players during the match. Can't plan ahead and rest players. A few looked cooked - Grlj, Cumming and Burton. We can't expect these kids to perform and stick to a developing gameplan. I really feel for the players - they are trying their hardest but NOTHING goes our way on match day - except Euro-Joke not belting the crap out of us. So that's a positive.

Really liked Tresize, Miller and Short down back - they copped it stupid from the umps but still stood up. Campbell on ball was good at times and when we changed the angles it did look like some sort of gameplan. Hart to execute with so many players missing, but there are REALLY good signs from Fawcett and Faull in particular. Lynch was ok, just glad he is fit and helping the young talls. Hopper was much better than previous weeks and Ross had good moments. Loved NRT first two goals - well done.

In - Lefau
Out - Gray

and a special "eff off" to the media if they go after Vlastuin for that tackle. We get sweet FA reward for HTB so just EFF OFF. Point the microscope the absolute rorting and cheating done by the umps you clowns.

you teach the same gameplan to the entire squad and tweak it here and there and must have plan b. letting them get so many uncontested possessions is a joke

Really worrying.... He ever dropped the ball when it was returned to him when he had a free kick.
