I think they were pretty happy to put the foot down with the bye coming.
Very much a contrast when we were managing players loads during the block of 5 day breaks & travel.
JL and the boys are putting on a clinic this year in terms of controlled power and conserving resources where possible.

Its nice to know we can do this but there is a couple of factors that won't be repeated again.
1. North were just terrible. Flat and uninspired.
2. The ground we played on is much bigger than normal AFL grounds and there was space everywhere for us to play our fast handball game. I don't think we get that sort of room on any other ground and under so little pressure.

Was like a training run. Don't get me wrong. Still very impressive and wonderful to have a game to just purely enjoy but doubt we'll see that again.

Sometimes tries to do too much ... Problem is if you stop him taking it on like this, you also lose the magic when it comes off.

Bit of learning for him, when to make which play. Think he's already progressed in this area though and will no doubt figure it out.

Shows how media changes perception though. They laud him every time does something good, and ignore the not-so-good, meaning it goes missed. Only Freo Fans who watch every game would pick up on the inconsistent disposal.

Bruce does try to do too much at times however the good far exceeded the bad. Bolton is similar in that he can do the impossible and yet make the easy, straightforward stuff look awkward.
We need some of these unpredictable players to bring the moments of magic that can easily win games.

But earlier in the season, some amongst us WERE rating coaches as the H&A unfolded.
Im continuing in that vein...
I dont know how well we'll do in the finals, do you think JLo will let us down?
JLo has now bested Fagan and Clarkson.
He faces CScott next for those who look at things in this way.
Halfway thru this season JLo LEADS the best team in the comp!

Fremantle games are now being played entirely on our terms for the first time I think I've ever seen. Even under Rosco it was just negate the opposition.

A good team like Brisbane tried hard to shut us down in multiple different ways and couldn't do it. North seemingly didn't have a plan b and so were easily picked apart.

This is serious mum.

Depth - midfield bats 8 plus deep.
- forward line, 3 great key forwards, smalls forwards doing enough.
- back line, no passengers.

No stress game of football for me. Love watching football and relaxing.

Every week a different person steps up. Erasmus, McVee, Switta were all great today. Young was good on his first game back. McVee has been heavily criticized, but continues to improve as the year goes on.

Jackson brilliant again.

Forward efficiency is brilliant. 65% of forward entries led to a score.

Not saying they are best 22, but NOD and JOM both played well. Good to have depth working hard and keeping pressure on the 23.

Disagree!! Every single player im the comp makes mistakes! His errors are what 1% compared to the other 99% it comes off!! The only error I saw today was that kick at goal in the last that should have gone to one of many other leading forwards! The dude is 19 and just a complete GUN!!

After all, its only happened 87 times in 119 years!
