is this short experiment over yet
He has always been too slow against top pace early in his innings.... Guess what aus selectors...that's international cricket v domestic white ball! Flat track domestic bully still doesn't work after 30 innings! What a surprise

TBF once you've selected a player you have to give him a decent run.

renshaw up the order, labuschagne somewhere else
Spot on.
Renshaw has deserved a spot and opportunity for 3 years now. Should've been back in the test side, but anyhow, recent form, why isn't he in at 3?

time to pension off Marnus, or does he still have some credits in the bank? granted we can't pension off everyone...
Yeah, I think he's been lucky due to selection policy of needing experience, right?
Marsh inj, Head IPL then personal leave??, Smith retire, Green average, and just no one else of experience....
But he has to go.

Yep
Apparently a bowling all rounder now. Lol. He is a batsman A Top three batter. He is not a number 7. Like when we tried to play smith as a bowler at 8.

In fact. If i use the 11 we have selected. Surely

Carey
Short
Renshaw
Labuschagne
Connolly
Inglis
Green
Scott
Bartlett
Ellis
Zampa

The 5 batters
The Keeper
The two All Rounders
The Three Bowlers

Agreed. But after 10 innings if the selectors and coach can't see the glaring weakness in a batter opening averaging 18... When opening is a prime spot... It's bad for the player and selectors.

Inglis has just scored 2 50s batting in the top three so no way he bats 6

Carey is not an opener better suited in the middle order against the spin

green has just scored a ton and a 50 in his last 4 ODI innings no way he bats seven

I was happy they tried Connolly as opener today looked okay for 30 odd

Issue is Short and Labs just being crap for ages.....renners should be 4 carey green swapping at 5/6 for me when head marsh come back this looks a lot better

Head
Marsh
Inglis
Renners
Green
Carey
