Always though this attitude was funny, stuff our bottom 6, we need some more help for Koz around the ball. Bottom 6 can be role players for us all day every day.

We had Spargo, Jordan, Brown, Harmes, a pipsqueak first year Bowey and Joel Smith as our bottom 6-7 players in the flag year.
We can replace that kind of slop anytime

Reckon we are on same page.

Add quality and then the bottom six sorts itself out.

I would target best players avail with our two firsts (maybe trade if Hump is on table) then aim for an experienced tall fwd to cover checkers

We gotta go hard on our midfield. Windsor Steele Sparrow and Fitzgerald on paper is probably a bottom 6 midfield. How the hell king is getting what he is out of them with Koz is amazing

Yep. KPP quality of premiership teams has been variable over the years, but the midfields are all undeniably top notch.

Our midfield mix isn't close to it. Need two more A tier players next to Kozzy.

Reckon they keep Salem (apparently they reckon he's got plenty left internally) and Henderson (been pretty close to a game lately), but agree on the rest.

Current OOC that are gone IMO - AJ, Laurie, Melksham, Adams, Mentha, TMac. Plus, already have May, Campbell and McAdam gone and not sure they keep AMW. That's 9 or more gone already. Then there's a watch on Sparrow and Mapley, for different reasons and add in Rivers who is contracted but I have suspicions about.

Without anything controversial that's 12 spots to fill, which would be a huge turnover.

Yeah Cooke and Fitzy are 100% keeps for mine, wait and see with Mapley.

Reckon they keep Salem, but I've got faith in the contract given we heard Chandler signed for less than what other clubs were offering.

I personally just don't like Salem or what he offers at all but I'd be more than shocked if he wasn't here still next year

Nah I know man haha! I'm happy to keep him, but also hope it's a transition period as Bowey, Tholstrup and Lindsay (if he stays backline) take over his role.

Yeah Mapley is the ruck. Wait and see with him, has height and age on his side, and probably handy to have a developing ruck on the list for the future.

Tholstrups already a better defender than Salem, I wonder if Lindsay and Salem were fit this week who would get pushed out back there because I really like Howes aswell

It's funny, two of the most shaky starters have become the two most trustworthy in Tholstrup and Howes. Both great at ground level, win one on ones, and use the ball well.

It's a good question too, with Salem, Lindsay, CJ and even AMW all out, where does the space come? I guess, maybe it doesn't? Maybe we just have healthy competition for spots in the backline? Then factor in Taylor coming through, it's a bit different to the other end of the ground.

Tmac probably last year and Adams potentially on the scrap heap, maybe Luker Kentfield could train as a FB. Seems to love the physical side of the game and I think he has played there in juniors.

They should throw Mitch Lewis a deal he can't refuse. Guy is a UFA so Hawks can't match.

Yeah honestly I think the only players off the top of my head from the Neeld era who are either on par or worse than Laurie are Nicholson, Gillies and Troy Davis.

Agree with above - Bartram was really solid, and was on track for a good season before being cut down by injury. Really liked the dash.
