Well, whooda thunk it! ...I did, sort of - from my round 14 preview:
So I suppose effort and self belief is a powerful force, watching the Tigers in the preseason they look like a well oiled machine. Winning games without getting out of 2nd gear, but that second gear is still manic and grinds...

My usual Richmond preview time has come. Turns out the Tigers are on the brink of being the real deal. They've lost five games and excluding the Crows game they'd have been by a total of 15 points.
Nonetheless they're a very young side with energy and a core of elite seniors that can worry any...
It's my annual preview time, we've tolerated some horrid JLT Series games but now we get to the real stuff!
I recall last year's pre game talk and the Tigers were aiming to be a top four side while Carlton fans had just come off a wooden spoon year (and 3 NAB Challenge losses) with little...
The Suns, albeit a young team, have opted for a Co-Captain structure but we've also seen a very successful Sydney side use it to acknowledge their widely accepted leader but also promote a younger player like Jack.
This brings me to our side. I have no strong feelings towards Marc Murphy's...
Here we go again.
Two teams at different stages of their 'premiership window' and the 2013 Elim Final seems like a distant memory. We haven't beaten the Tigers since and we've sunk to the bottom while the Tigers are talking top 4 and surprise surprise, premierships in February. The results do...
Well it was a pretty bleak year for the Blues in 2014 but there were still a fair few positives to take away.
I'm planning to make a video of moments that stood out for the fans and rank the top whatever number of submissions depending on how many we can think of.
So post what moment you...
Can't really find a relevant thread that's sort of all encompassing of both staff, departments, constitution changes etc...
One item of news that's worthy of discussion is the impending change of constitution detailed here...
Finally a Saturday afternoon game!
I'm a tad busy right now so I'll get the preview up soon.
Discuss away for now!
Judd has been cleared of any structural damage to his ankle, won't require a scan and should be okay after a 9 day break.
We've passed the 1/3rd mark of the season and it's fair to make a judgement on some of the players now. I've been surprised by the improvement in plenty of Blue boys and was wondering who the masses would classify as the best of that lot.
We've seen sides like Essendon lose to a terrible Melbourne side but they've usually shown glimpses of good football previous or thereafter. There seems to be no way back for the Blues.
What has to happen from here? Serious issues have been exposed all through the club.
- Depth, previous...
2014 AFL PREMIERSHIP ROUND 1
CARLTON BLUES VS. PORT ADELAIDE POWER
SUNDAY 16TH MARCH, 7:40PM @ ETIHAD
PRESEASON FORM
Carlton started the year with a young side defeating a strong on paper North Melbourne team which threw up the likes of Buckley, Menzel, Bell, Watson as possible regulars to...
I prefer to browse BF on my phone's browser as opposed to a separate app but have this annoying floating bar which takes up significant screen real estate when i zoom in.
There should be a choice to say no to tapatalk only once and not have to try and click a tiny exit button every time I come...
What a man, nothing he can't do.
Let's direct all talk whether Watson comes in to release him or whether we play White CHB and bring Laidler back etc here.
We'll invariably talk about the three rucks but just remember Kreuzer was the worst of the lot.
Yarran should never have played. Kreuzer should never have played.
Casboult or Rowe would have got round the ground much easier than big Tractor today. Why have them on the list otherwise...
Anyone have the details on this membership explained on The Blueprint? Wouldn't mind getting it as a present for someone but can't find the details on iamcarlton.com.au
Good initiative by the club, be it, a little late.
The man looks lost in my opinion. It will be a year now that he hasn't found the 2011 form and we've since then seen him do some wonderful things in the midfield and down back against the saints where was clinical and kept Milne quiet.
I also rate him our worst senior NAB Cup performer and see...
2013 ROUND 1
CARLTON BLUES VS. RICHMOND TIGERS
THURSDAY 28TH MARCH, 7:45 @ MCG
PRESEASON FORM
Both sides’ preseasons have drawn the attention of the ‘experts’ looking for that side that invariably enters the top 4 after not making finals the previous year. The Carlton interest comes from...
Sad to see a great bloke leave the club, nothing too official but I suggest we get ready to see him outside the navy blue.
http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/afl/jordan-russell-quits-the-blues/story-e6frepf6-1226466851076
Club probably saving him some face by not expressly saying he's...
Not only praising the kid for his bash and crash, but despite people talking about Carrazzo's tagging job on Cotchin and O'Keefe, I've actually noticed Bell playing on these two and keeping them very quiet.
Here's hoping he doesn't get in Trengove like bother with his few tackles because he...
Looks like Sam Reid and Mumford are injured, which will help.
It's going to be a very tough day at the office against a premiership favourite though.
Of the injured I only see Robbo as a realistic chance of coming in
IN: Robinson
OUT: Duigan
Could they finally get us with half of our best 22 out? We've got so far into their heads that we could still pull this one off.
IN: Warnock, Robinson, Ellard*
OUT: Bower, Russell, Curnow*
Joseph, Jamison, Duigan
Yarran, Watson, McInnes
Gibbs, Murphy, Scotland
Garlett, Thornton, Collins...
We haven't had a first choice midfield since round 3.
Carrazzo goes out for 8 weeks, before he returns, we lose Murphy. But before Murphy returns we lose the previously indestructible Kade Simpson. Then when we get Murphy back and maybe patch up our midfield loss with the additions of McLean...

There's also a form for a Google+ hangout to fill in.
Assuming this is an initiative for Blue supporters to have a video...
Hawks in great form after demolishing the Lions without Lewis and Hodge (Lions missing McGrath and a guy called Simon Black).
We'll look to probably bring Thornton in after he kicked 4 (?) in the reserves today. Dyl Buckley also had another good game and kicked two goals, could be in...
