Unless I was just in a coma for 2 weeks and the Dogs won the flag it's no.

Poo Mega Thread AFL asking Eagles to delay bye so Richmond doesnt need to travel twice to WA

So Richmond played the Giants at Marvel (not our home ground) on May 15th, then travelled to the Gabba to play Brisbane, then home, then to Giants Stadium to play Adelaide and were forced to stay in Sydney at short notice, then to Optus to play Essendon, then back to Sydney, and will head to...

Poo Mega Thread AFL asking Eagles to delay bye so Richmond doesnt need to travel twice to WA

Yeah but look what happened by season's end, all that travel took its toll and they only won the GF by 5 goals. In a normal season it would've been more, much more.

Poo Mega Thread AFL asking Eagles to delay bye so Richmond doesnt need to travel twice to WA

Shouldn't West Coast fans be defecting back to the WAFL by now?

Should the rules be changed to make Marlion Pickett eligible for the Rising Star this year?

It's the RISING Star award. Two premierships in one year says he's peaked, can't be rising any further.

Poll - Who would you rate as the weakest premiership side in the AFL era?

Not sure where I quoted the media but ok. Geelong played 7 games, including two finals the previous two weeks, at the MCG before meeting Richmond there in our PF. Add in their experience there over the previous years and it's not a factor. EDIT: I just realised the Cats had played two finals...

Poll - Who would you rate as the weakest premiership side in the AFL era?

Cats have plenty of experience at the MCG so it's virtually a neutral ground.

Using that argument the 'bottom' teams are now stronger, so it's harder to win against them, yes?

    The AFL is rigged...

Yet you still follow it and post in an AFL forum. I agree it's not 100% fair and legit though and outcomes (not games) are scripted. Post your winner anyway, it's give you some cred.

    Hawthorn's regret re. Tyrone Vickery

    Hawthorn's regret re. Tyrone Vickery

"small little" and "throwing in a comma"? Where does one start... Firstly, one of the words (small little) is superfluous and they're needs to be a comma between the two adjectives... And fourthly, it's an apostrophe, not a comma. And (c) if you can find one mistake with anything I've written...

Carlton are Australia's most successful football club

Nah, it's still the VFL, just a different name now. Even if we take all of those pre-'national' league premierships away your club's still on the bottom of the premiership ladder.

Carlton are Australia's most successful football club

Who says it's the National comp? The AFL is the VFL with a few teams from interstate added. Just because the VFL changed its name to AFL doesn't make it so. What does the N in SANFL stand for?

Poll - Who would you rate as the weakest premiership side in the AFL era?

Fourth last? Firstly, we ended the season officially third. Secondly, those same bookies had us favourites going into the finals and for much of the year. Also, the 4th line of betting doesn't mean they think a team is the 4th best team, there could be others on the same line and multiples on...

Not confused at all. The bookies got them wrong as well. Bookies aren't the best judges, are they.

Apparently there will be no more 'strong' premierships because (insert excuses here).

Yes but then they changed their minds and had us favourites. Where were the Eagles in betting at the start of the season? GWS?

When does Terry Wallace get the credit he deserves?

His mirror congratulated him, if that counts.

When does Terry Wallace get the credit he deserves?

The All Things Richmond obsession continues. It's, dare I say, unprecedented. The best advice I can give is that if Terry Wallace is your coach you should sack him. #ATR

Decade long dominance? Tell us, how many flags did your team win during that decade long dominance? Let's see, you won in 1996 and 1999, so that's two. Dominance. in 1997 you won 12 games and 1998 you won 16. Dominance on a grand scale. In the 5 years preceding those flags you won 12, 7, 13, 13...
