If Melbourne get beat by Geelong today, they will be up for a first win just like us next week at the G.

Then we face Adelaide at Subi.

Not real confident of us getting 2 wins in the next 2 weeks.

Reckon CC will get the flick if we are 0-5?

It sounds like that is your prefered option.

From what I've seen of Melbourne so far I'll be very disappointed if we don't record our first win of the season next week.

As for being 0-5 - last time that happened we only won 2 games for the year and a worrying thought just occurred to me. Wasn't that the season when we blew a big halftime lead in R1 against Carlton and our confidence gradually went downhill from there? Not saying history will repeat - we're a much better team now - but we really need to put a few wins together quickly to stop the rot.

As long as we lack discipline and are not desperate for possesion of the footy and carry passengers we will continue to drop games and its a matter of not only playing shit but playing themselves into the same shit situations season after season, you'd think the maturity they preach about would give them resolve but NOO!!! i won't be surprised if we're 0-5 because thats just one of the joys of being a freo fan..always expect the unexpected coz surely no one saw us winning 9 in a row after rd14 last yr and in a similar fashion no one expects us to be 0-5
Mundy is lazy and not desperate in tight contests... SOFT!!!:thumbsd:

We sure do est. At this stage there won't be an easier away game than Melbourne minus Neitz and Robertson. I'm not saying it will be easy because we are not playing well, but we don need to win it badly. The same for the game against Adeliade. We require some wins on the board.

Interesting stats in todays paper:

- Freo have no won a game after a derby in nearly 10yrs.

(If that trend continues then pls note...)

- No side has ever made the final 8 after being 0-4.

They beat Port Adelaide in round 22 after winning the derby in round 21 last year.

I think you will find he is referring to the Dockers winning an away game after a derby, that game you played at home after that derby! The same game last year you got pumped by Melbourne by 10 goals. Doesnt look to well down at dockerland!

Last away win after a derby was Rd 4 1998 at Waverley against the Bombers!

None of you can say your confident of a win in Round 4 against a side just as desperate as us and it's an away game.

They are getting pumped by Geelong at the moment.

Daniher or CC? Which one goes first?

I support Freo completely but I just have no faith in CC. Something just not right.

Melbourne are copping an absolute hiding from Geelong atm. 55 points down in the third quarter.

Our best chance to beat Melbourne at the G comes next week, If we can't beat them there we'll never will.

Last season he was a week away from the sack , he is entering them unchartered waters again

theres softer blokes than mundy goin round, at least he can kick. We'll take him off your hands if he is causing to much trouble:thumbsu:

The 8 day break will help our chances. Showers forecast for the game, there are showers forecast for Perth this week too, hopefully they come when the boys are training.

You would love us to be 0-5 wouldnt you, then you can go on about getting rid of CC. Fremantle will not sack a coach mid season again, it is one of the worst things a club can do.

Who says you have to sack him? Just make him an assistant coach and upgrade one of the assistants.
