I'll give ratings to the players who had some decent game time at AFL level this season. Itd be good to hear if you agree with me or not, happy to take sh** if you reckon i'm way off.
1. Newman - good year, bit quiet at times, but used it pretty well 7.5/10
3. Deledio - Possibly wasted in the backline earlier in the season, but really rated him up forward. 8/10
4. Raines - disappointing after a big year last year, expected him to step up a bit more. 6/10
5. Simmonds - we really needed him more this season, when he did play didn't do much at all, but i'll forgive him for that. 5/10
6. Polak - Great first probably 15 or so games, amazing hands, dropped off a bit last few rounds 7.5-8/10
7. Brown - Happy with Brownie's return, nowhere near the 2005 form but obviously that wasn't expected, hopefully he can get better still next year. 7.5/10
8. Riewoldt - didn't get a whole lot of games but showed a bit when he played. 6/10
10. Edwards - Good this season, good confidence, takes the game on 7/10
11. Bowden - another very good season, amazing kick but he started missing a few targets towards the end of the season. 8/10
12. Richo - B n F. Champion 9.5/10
15. Pets - really good second half. 8/10
17. Johnno - average 7/10
21. Tucky - gets the ball plenty but didn't use it well enough 7.5/10
23. Jackson - surprised at his progression. 7/10
25. Schulz - needs to work a lot harder 5/10
26. Patto - did really well as basically our only full time ruckmen for most of the season. 7.5/10
27. Krakouer - didn't play much, probably finished with the Tiges. 3/10
29. JON - only played 3 matches, still disappointing 3/10
30. Tambling - time for him to step up, showed glimpses tho. 6-7/10
31. Hyde - can be good or bad, not much in between. 6-7/10
32. Tivendale - much better year i reckon, mostly improved his disposal from last year, not as many turnovers 7.5/10
34. Cleve - doesn't do enough. 4/10
35. White - struggling..... good pace tho 5/10
36. Thursfield - great year after knee reco 8/10
38. McGuane - also a good year for a young defender 7.5/10
39. Connors - love him, very exciting 6.5/10
40. Moore - didn't play much, did okay last couple of rounds. 5/10
41. Foley - awesome year, gets out of traffic so well. 9.5-10/10
43. Howat - not doing enough 5/10
44. Graham - was okay when he played 5-6/10
46. King - good find. 7.5-8/10
