what about Sam Wright and Patch Adams? All those guys were quicker at 22 than they were at 18.

Does Devil Fish not rate Mahony?
Suspect his ability to play a decent amount of TOG has helped him stay in the team. Could become a home grown Papley type.
I don't really see a player of his size around the AFL playing as an inside mid; Caleb Daniels, Dahlhuis, Myers, Brent Daniels - yes, but inside mid? unlikelyI see him developing more as an inside mid in the long term. Would be very happy with either outcome.

Fair point; as you say, he's in the same range for height as Lachie Neale, but Jack will do well to put on the next 15 kgsLachie Neale, Dayne Zorko, Dion Prestia and Matt Rowell go ok. He just needs to put on some size. Given his age, you’d reckon he could.

That'll help him sticking those missed tackles.Fair point; as you say, he's in the same range for height as Lachie Neale, but Jack will do well to put on the next 15 kgs
Nice one, JonahThe club does and will play all games for the remainder of the season unless he gets a two week injury then we'll see him in 2025

I was a little sceptical, think he still seems too small without speed, but ya gotta love his footy smarts.A few posters have been negative on him - too small, too slow blah, blah, blah - the smart posters have been with Jack since his first touch at senior level and tonite is just another reason to get in behind the guy.
