Yeah we definitely can feel the excitement building. The other boys have said it’s a really different environment to what it was in previous years. We are all pretty excited about the future and about taking a few steps forwards, and with our group of 2nd and 3rd year players starting to come through we want to make Carlton a force in the AFL again.

Why do nearly all of our recent draft picks sound mature beyond their years?

Why do nearly all of our recent draft picks sound mature beyond their years?

I hear Grigg has sensational burst speed.

Can't wait to see him in a year or two when he's playing hopefully consistent footy for the Blues.

How are you going to celebrate your first goal in AFL football? Can we request a bit of air guitar action?

Well I actually had a conversation with Bryce Gibbs about this yesterday. When one of us gets our first goal we are going to do the ‘up and down potato’. I can’t tell you too much more but that’s the plan at this stage.

That sounds like something to look forward to! Anything else you want to say about your teammates and their unusual habits?

I can definitely say something about another one of the new recruits! Sam Jacob spends far too much time in front of the mirror grooming himself. I don’t want to say too much about the senior guys as they might pay out on me!

I have no doubt it will be some kind of jiggle that every true blue Carlton supporter will be doing after every goal in no time....but can anyone shed some light on exactly how foolish we will be looking when we do it?

I didn't know this til about 2 weeks ago, but my uncle said my cousin is good mates with Grigg.

He was there with Grigg the night the Whitnall/Scotland thing went on.
And yes they were ******** faced by his accounts.

My cousin is a good kid so i'd have to assume if birds of a feather flock together then Grigg must be a pretty nice down to earth kid as well.
