5.50pm: Channel 10 report Port didn't meet with Laidley today, but plan to in the next few days.

6.20pm: Channel 7 report Port are meeting with Laidley as the sports segment is going to air.

Isn't Channel 10 news produced interstate? Perhaps would give Channel 7 some more credibility being local.

The main newsreaders read from interstate but the sport and weather are filmed in Adelaide. Ian Shuttleworth reports on local footy stories.

Maybe on weekends, but the weekday news is produced locally, including the sports and weather.

Shuttleworth (10) usually ferrets out info fairly well, but Dittmar would have contacts among the Portites at 7 (and professing to be one himself).

Yeah you're right Ford. It is produced locally with the newsreaders reading from interstate.
