100+ goals in a yr

jason heatley nth heid- 2000?
chris meachem pascoe vale- 2004

 

[Saint]

A young guy called Andrew Slevinson kicked 100+ goals in 2005 after missing the first 10 games, in Eastern Football league for the Waverley Blues.

Nathan Osler kicked 100 goals in the regular season in the Ellinbank League.

Both these guys are around 21-22 yrs old, and looking to back it up this year.(both have turned down offers from other bigger clubs to stay at their home club)

I remeber Perry Meka in the late 80's and the 90's in the KDFL from Ardmona.

Also Chris Stueldrier (spelling?) from Kyabram in the 90's!

Stueldrier a gun. Kicked 100's year in year out in melb, G>V & O &m
Meka kicked lots of goals in minor leagues.
Trevor sutton Deniliquin 249 goals in mid 80's. Kicked goal 100 in round 7. No brains!!
Shane Loveless should have been a star in VFL. Lots of goals. No brains!!
Many others in GV taylor, Ken Murray etc, Murray league Darren Jackson -kicked 1000 goals as well as 30 games at Geelong.

I know Chris. A good bloke. A big guy like Bell at Red Cliffs. NOt many big FB's. In his last season 2004, in a final waited for the team to be read out. Not named at FF so thought he must in the ruck. Not likely. Sat on the pine for 1/2. FF second half- five goals. Now living in Geelong. Would be upset that he missed out on flag in 05.

Maurice Goolagong(nephew of tennis great Evonne Cawley Goolagong)plays for Terrigal Avoca in the Black Diamond League in Newcastle.Has kicked 3,4 or 5 centuries in hte past 6 years. www.bdafl.com.au should find you some stats,which i will also look for.But a fella named Peter Ruskulic(sic)played for East Sydney in the 80s,kicked 100+ 3 years straight,with 216 in one season being a record that may still stand.Jaret Hogarth from Manly Warringah also deserves a mention,kicked about 800+ in 10 years in Sydney FA

Gavin Exell kicked big tons at Stanhope in 2000, 2001 and 2003.
Dodie Canavan kicked tons at Rushworth in 2004 and Stanhope 1998

Simon Goosey is a freak!!! Watched him in a Vic Country game at Kardinia Park one year and he destroyed them. Had about 6 opponents throughout the day, best FF I've seen.

Disagree ablett. I think it says alot for the strength of the on ball brigades at these clubs. Even the best backman will get bags kicked on them if the ball is coming in to easily on a continuous basis. Let me guess you must be a freak full forward who kicks ton after ton or your a gun backman that never lowers his colours. Would love to see you line up on any of those full forwards and see how you go!

clifton, i'm neither but i'll go one step further an add that the coaches must not be much chop then to continuosly let forwrds kick big bags against them with out dropping players back in the hole etc..
you dont see afl forwards kick big bags weeks in a row anymore because if a backman is getting beat they other systems in place to assist their defence.

You are a bigger idiot than i thought. What position do you/did you play and who do you coach if your such a genius on stopping gun full forwards? And what league are you involved in so we can hame some sort of comparison on the awesome footy your playing.
