Now that we have a 10m circle for rucks starting next year, how do you think it will affect our ruck division?

My thoughts are it will be a big advantage for Nobel and Stafford. Both are tall and dont have a lot of pace and would not benefit from a big runup.

I think simmonds would be better too as he seems to have a very good vertical leap even without a runup.

I think we are big winners for this rule. ( I reckon this will hurt that dud ottens as well). :)

What do other tiger fans think??

I doubt this has anything to do with us overlooking Wood.

Knobel will be advantaged and disadvantage by this rule at the same time.

While he won't be able to charge into the other ruckmen on a suicide mission as aeffectively as he usually does, his 202cm height will become very helpful to him, especially since he can actually get off the ground.

If he goes against a ruckmen who is say around 195-197cm area, Knobel will have a big advantage over them.

I think it will favour Stafford slightly, but i don't know how it will affect Simmonds.

It will slightly disadvantage Knoble in the apsect he wont take up his "suicide mission" * but overall it will beneift him greatly seeing as 'good ruckman' wont be able to jump over him

* I cannot wait to see Noble's suicide runs into opposing ruckman.

Im not sure it will effect Simmonds much seeing as his a good ruckman yet his strengths are around the ground.

Wont fase Stafford, it anything will beneift him imo.

what is the exact rule?

the two ruckman must have both feet inside a 10m circle when the ball is bounced. less run up there for less injuries will occur. no onballers are allowed to enter until the ball has been bounced. thats bout it..... same as the wized cup last year rule.
