SEN didn't have the rights to the Australian Open until last year. Why would you listen to their recap of the day when the ABC was doing the exact same thing and was also calling matches live?
That's another odd SEN decision ... why buy the rights to the Open and then hardly broadcast any matches? It got ridiculous last week when they called the start of a Kyrgios match but, come 8pm, it was over to RoCo.
Maybe they don't have full rights and are only able to call a limited number of matches. Even though I love tennis I don't enjoy listening to it being called on the radio (I will listen if I am desperate though, i.e. no access to the vision for whatever reason). If they called a lot of the tennis matches in full I don't think it would be popular with the majority of listeners.
