i reckon Sam is the perfect foil for Ken, he is very slick & sets Ken up perfectly for his insights.. not sure how Healy will interact with himKen has been a breath of fresh air. And I actually don't mind Sam as much alongside Kenny.
I'll take your word for it!Agree Ken has been good

He barely said a thing, he let the side chick co commentator do everything and she was absolutely rubbish. 'We call this is a -- in the sport' and four other boring lines on constant rotation. If you're commentating a nicher sport, say what's difficult or explain what's happening.Matt Hill calling the men's downhill skiing on Ch.9 and doing a fine job. What an all-round professional.
I haven't heard Kenny yet.. Not looking forward to Healy coming back, he's so boorish. And his big editorials are nothing special imo. Wants the bump banned aswell.Kenny Hinkley is a lot more upbeat and positive than ol' mate Kornes.
Will be keen to hear how he goes with Uncle Gerard (Healy).
Matt Hill is easily the best sports broadcaster in the country at the moment. Brenton Speed would be up there too, the most versatile caller there is.He barely said a thing, he let the side chick co commentator do everything and she was absolutely rubbish. They were shithouse and Matt Hill is too. Boring as ****.
It might be as long as 30 years. I spoke to him one day about 25 years ago. I asked him about his physio stuff, and he said way back then that he hadn't done it for a while, basically since he got too busy at Channel 7 and 3AW. I think he had a practice in Seafordjust outta curiosity how long since Healy practiced his qualification ?

Who would be your choice as someone not "boring"?
He's a nice bloke actually , not a rat like a Rex Hunt or Dunstall who hate the publicIt might be as long as 30 years. I saw him one day about 25 years ago on Beach Rd when he lived in Black Rock or Beaumaris. I had a little fanboy moment, so we chatted for a couple of minutes as he was walking home from the Beaumaris Pub, and I was rolling along on my bike. I asked him about his physio stuff, and he said he hadn't done it for a while, basically since he got busier at Channel 7. I think he had a practice in Seaford

I can assure you it was his wrist , so he told you rubbishHe's a little taller than I would've guessed.AFL Tables says he's 184cm, but he looked more like at least 6ft1.5.
I went to a gym in Dingley for a little while. A bloke there told me a grouse and believable conspiracy theory about why Gerard really retired early, but I can't remember it.The official story obviously goes that he didn't wanna aggravated his badly injured wrist, because he planned to be a physio for a long time. However, I think the bloke said it was really about a contract payout. Eh, I've got no idea
Pipe with something special today , someone asked would he have Razor on this year ,sai he will probably be on with GW as always and then said he loves afl talk so much between 12 and 2pm he probably wouldn't put Michael Jordan on if he called in , this has to be his best

Oh Boy! I cant wait...I wonder if he's Well??Uncle Gerard’s back on Monday.

183cm is exactly 6ft, so "do the math".I think 184 is around 6'1" ish
i like tom. but i have to be consistent. i bag afl commentators for doing their job from a studio. so i will therefore bag tom.None are
