Think i will stick to Bill Simmons and various Ringer podcasts in future instead of returning to SEN if crap like Formula 1 keeps getting undeserved airtime

F1 belongs in that second tier of popularity in Australia, ahead of some of the competitions that you mentioned. It'd warrant substantial airtime without an Australian participating in it, never mind there being one 2 months away from maybe winning it.

Imagine complaining about F1 talk, then bringing up MLB and Horse racing as a better alternative??? You are comprehensively wrong or in the very small minority

Man enough to admit I was wrong.

I hate horse racing with a passion btw but I expect SEN will be covering it big time after the trade period in footy (and the spring carnivL)

I think i overestimated MLB's popularity but I still think NFL is getting bigger and bigger here in Australia every year. But obviously there is plenty of other shows and podcasts i can listen to about it, so in hindsight I think i was whinging/complaining over nothing and I admit I looked like bit of a tool

I know a heap of people that are viewers of F1 now especially since Drive To Survive and Piastri's career has unfolded

Agree, he should of done the distance on an exercise bike or something like that. Thats how I thought he was going to get around it.

Use some program to log the km's. It's 1800 km but he would get it done gradually, as long as he did it before the 2026 GF even.
