Could see him retiring early and heading back to the country
And give up million plus a year? Highly doubtful. I think he'd just ask for a trade or take the pi$$ at VFL level to claim his cash.

Ione weekend off isn't gonna do much. Needs to take a break for 6 weeks and be on a program that will see him concentrate purely on cardio. He's struggling to get through half a game

Not like it hasn't happened plenty of times before.

Jack Watts got injured at Port before their finals campaign and called time. He hadn't hit 30 yet.

I think we've seen the best of Clarry now and it's downhill from here, we missed out not trading him when we had the chance. Will prob get back to some better form at another club though.

We absolutely missed the boat not once but twice. We had a free hit two years in a row and still refuse to budge because Goodwin thought our so called high and mighty culture would fix him when instead the best thing for him actually would have to leave the club for the best of both parties.

This is 110% on Goodwin.

Nice of you to speak on behalf of the whole human population.
Keen to know what the people of Tanzania think of Clarry being out this week.

Watts had other things going on I think. Not sure how much time he had left on his contract, he certainly wouldn't have been on massive coin at port.

It’s the list manager. If the list manager has no agency on the list as his core job then he can **** off too, because he damn well should.

No point having one if it’s the head coach is making the list decisions, just get a work experience kid to print out the paperwork.

I doubt he would have been on massive coin either, but the average salary back in 2020 was still around what, 400k? I doubt he was walking into anything near that amount, he was still studying when the swimming and **** scandal broke.

Anyway point is I think there's some people who would prefer a job outside of the limelight. JUH doesn't seem to care that he's throwing away his career.

Really? If Oliver wanted to go he should have stated he wanted out. Nobody forced him to sign this deal, he is an adult.

We are ****en idiots with these long contracts and then refusing to trade players when we are being offered overs.

How the **** does Lamb still have a job, the bloke has not made one good decision in a decade.
Not one?

Not one?

Really?

Hyperbole much.

Go breathe into a paper bag for a minute.

If the spud is sooking it up about not being traded to Geelong he should take a ****en paycut so we can get compo in picks.

It’s not as if as soon as Geelong take on his contract it won’t be restructured anyway.

This Geelong flog keeps going to the media saying “Dees need to either pay his contract or take under” can get ****ed. We should counter and tell them that either they give us picks and work out yeh contract directly with Clayton since he supposedly wants to move so much or he can get ****ed.

Happy paying Clayton overs to rot in the VFL than give Cats a leg up.
