I'm the first person to come to this guy's defense, but what I don't understand is how his ball use by foot can be and continues to be so bad.
He is literally paid a crap ton of money per year, so one would think it would be something he would get specialised help with to rectify as I assume foot skills can be trained and subsequently improved.

I know he is aware that he is deficient in this area of his game but yet there's been no noticeable improvement.

Boggles the mind.
Mind blowing atleast try to improve. All we hear we didn't pay 2 first round picks for him and his B and F win. Regardless what we gave up the one thing not negotiable is kicking. All I will say we got our pants pulled down to many excuses for his poor skills.

We were already getting Taranto, club needed to be stronger on Hopper though and say no despite Dimma telling ur list management team to get him.
early days for both - love em...... and from memory it took prestia and bachar a while to get going. reckon tims a bite sore. shuffle him, hops, jgti, dusty, nank, pickett, kmac, grimes, broad, lynch etc around and manage them to about 16-17 games max and blend in kosi and naysmith and every youngster on the list.

He must be playing sore at the moment because putting his decision making and kicking aside he just doesn’t look like a B& F winner at all.
It was all too much for Dimma. We are a bit of mess at the moment. Taranto may become good value as a marking forward but Dusty has that spot at the moment.

TT had 26p , 11 contested 5 clearances , 9 score involves and 1G and he’s the first u turn the blow torch ,,,lol get a clue , he’s not where our problem starts , a few players that can mark overhead would be a start then a forward that reads it off the boot as good as allir

He gets it and boots it. If a coach can build anything around that in the midfield then good luck to him.
As a forward getting it and booting it gets you goals.

He’s very inside , clean entries should be coming from
Your outside mids , our balance isn’t ideal and that’s why I want to see sonz and kmac introduced

Really? you want to bring out the stats do you? about about watch the game and see what he does and how he does it, that you won't see in the stats sheet. It only took me a few games to see what he was like, as I said he would be more damaging in the forward line than butchering the ball in the centre.

Stats generally do dispel myths , I can see what you don’t like em

He needs to hold the ball a fraction longer to assess his options better. If he gets caught with it a bit more then that's fine as long as he has a proper look at where he is sending it. He has more time than he thinks sometimes.

I feel sorry for him. I'd want out if I were him. He and Hopper have been hoodwinked and the club should facilitate all players that want out and do a proper rebuild.

Absolute best case scenario is we are back in finals contention late in the decade imo

Hoodwinked? 7 year deals at good money but no on field success. They're adults with managers. They can cry into their weetbix, dry their eyes with $100 bills

I thought we'd be better than 13th last year. Sadly no guarantees in life.

I wouldn't mind moving one of the GWS boys. but maybe they hang around, they both CAN play. Maybe it gels better with Prestia retired, Dow delisted.

“Hoodwinked” is bit of hyperbole but the vision they would have been sold is very far from reality. They must be feeling very disappointed and possibly misled.
