To be fair I was off Trainor when we picked him simply because of the concussions. The one that looks like a bad miss at this pick is Trainor![]()

bubble wrap benslicer serpell strikes, how does a kid have a 30 week hammie
We were talking about mids what's gib and Armstrong have to do with it. Your right though should be right across. Problem is you want to get them ready for AFL so how do you do that? Play them VFL which is rougher played on some terrible grounds? Or dump them out for 2 seasons in low leagues. If there bodies aren't ready they will break down any lvl.Cripps was injured a lot in his first year and we have Gibcus, Armstrong and Smillie all injured.
We had some of the best of the best running our medical departments back than even fixed Grimes and we didn't have all this long injuries. But we did have some poo players lolRemember when Cotchin had all those issues early in his career with his achilles. I remember many people saying he was a wasted pick and we should have tanked more games to get Kruezer.
Funny how quickly people are to write a kid off.
Rest them every 3 weeks and play 15 games maximum for the year, also sub them off more.We were talking about mids what's gib and Armstrong have to do with it. 19 weeks all up and climbing2 or 3 weeks Yze said on sen this arvo.
I dont mind that philosophy - smart clubs are starting to do it with their older guys. I advocated this for nank a couple of years ago when he was struggling to stay on the park. Its a full squad mentality. It enables the rotation of the squad - so everyone on it can have a crack to see whether they're up to it. It freshens everyone up to help get over niggles, prevent load injuries and sustains their output. You see guys come back from injuries fresh and they just seem to be running on top of the ground. I'm all for it.Rest them every 3 weeks and play 15 games maximum for the year, also sub them off more.
Reminds me of the potential bloodline available to us in about 17 years time.Need to spend summers with Percy Cerutty.

No that was in the dunes at Ocean Grove, plenty of bloodlines crossed back in the day.Reminds of the potential bloodline available to us in about 17 years time.

An 18yo midfielder with the height of a key forward might not have the hamstrings sufficiently conditioned for the rigour of AFL football?
Have some patience. Seth Campbell didn't play at all in his first year and we can't talk more highly of him now. Just calm the * down
Ironically some of the impatient folks were likely around for 1980 too, or at least around for a couple of decades pre 2017I always wonder how some of our supporters here coped before 2017. 37 years between flags takes a lot of patience something a few here have absolutely none of.
