Wouldn't it be easier just to lower all the house floor's by 6 inches?!Rumours at punt road, kam macintosh is back in town to do some odd jobs at Josh Smillie's parents joint..... first assignment is to make all doorways 6 inches higher and remove all the ceiling fans

Is that a serious statement? Of course he will get in the park in ‘26. He’s had growing pains, now 197cm apparently
He’s being managed for the long term benefit of both the club and himself individually. Will be a very very good player imo but patience required as he continues to grow into his body.

Murphy Reid is a player reliant on his footy IQ. Will he be star of the comp? Very well possibly. However, these types are the ones who blossom younger and don’t improve instrumentally. Not to say he won’t improve, but his athleticism isn’t elite, and is limited by that. Hence, he is reliant on his skill and IQ, which are already pretty elite. Smillie on the other hand could be a top midfielder based on potential. The key component for this imo is being able to absorb tacklers and distribute right at the coal face. Just like Cripps and Tom green do. They leverage their height and power in clearence work. Josh needs to be exactly that, which I have not seen a whole lot in his footy at both junior and senior level. He cannot be a distributor or a sweeper at that height, it simply is not possible with all the demands of agility and speed. If he is able to learn to leverage that height and size he will be elite.
