Anyone done this? SMS your full name and suburb to 199BONGO and you get a reply which is kinda freaky.

Anyone know how it works?

if its one of those numbers where u send ur details and get info back about u.. how they do it is search ur name all over the internet, find any related details about u eg myspace, online profiles etc and send it back to u, scamming a few bucks profit off u while theyre at it

Ok I just tried it then and there was nothing special really.

It said I know how to rock and isn't planning on stopping any time soon, likes curvaceous blondes and gets drunk most weekends. The 'most' bit makes it sound like a fake.

Especially since that description is a pretty common one for an average Aussie male.

When my school found out about it everyone went crazy as they thought it was real. The 'tough' guys were getting mad because their replies included 'such n such thinks he's A+ in the bedroom but we all know he's really D standard'. The 'tough' guys then grouped together and tried to get 'Bongo' to come down to the school for a punch-on. Priceless.
