Not sure it was an experiment. They seem to like to give every new player a crack playing in the back half. I guess to learn the defensive aspects at the highest level. Ellis did it, Conca, Vlaustin, even Dusty. I never understood why they couldn't learn the defensive aspects while playing in the positions that they are meant for but I guess it does give a player an understanding of what your teammates further afield have to encounter.
He did finished the year in the VFL alternating between HF and midfield. I'd like to see him do it at senior level next season. He's got some good traits.
They didn't use the word "frank" as a proper noun. But after looking up all the meanings in the dictionary I for the life of me can't see the definition that they were going for. A better word would have been "ensured" or "consolidated".To risk sounding a bit picky the article calls Kane Lambert, "Frank" & says A Vandenberg is "a nice size at 88cm"(we thought we've had some Height issues @ RFC).........Kinda lost me a bit after that

As I said before above, all the definitions for "frank" when referring to stamping only relates to letters or mail. Who is the editor for this? Is it the Essendon cheerleader Robbo?Doesn't actually call him Frank, it says his value is franked (ie stamped) by players like Anthony Miles who have made it at AFL level. But yeah, what else should you expect from a Hun article?
Supposedly the reason is that HFF/FP is 'starvation corner' and the ball doesn't go there often, so they prefer to put the players where the ball is to develop.
Makes sense to a degree, but surely they need to learn their spot as well.
I suspect they meant to talk about McBean and got confused. It is the Hun after all.

Sounds like we expect to be belted every game if we think the ball is only gonna be in our back half![]()
Its all Germanic to me according to the OED...Doesn't actually call him Frank, it says his value is franked (ie stamped) by players like Anthony Miles who have made it at AFL level. But yeah, what else should you expect from a Hun article?
Does this mean he's a campaigner that kicks on his right foot?I get what your saying but here's the quote...
"Anthony Miles’ seamless transition from state-league star to AFL force helped frank Lambert’s value and his TAC Cup coach Denis Pagan has likened him to a right-footed Anthony Stevens".
