Hey all,

Wonder if anybody could help me. I am looking for footage of the last time Lleyton Hewitt beat Roger Federer, that being the 2003 Davis Cup Semi Final tie in Melbourne!
It was an absolute ball-burster of a match, and if you ask me after losing from 2 sets to love up, Roger Federer has been determined as ever to never let Lleyton get a sniff in any match since. In fact, in their 12 matches since, Lleyton has only taken four sets off the master.
I've looked everywhere and can't find anything! Any help would be much appriciated... :thumbsu: :)

It's on youtube mate. I know where you can get the whole game as well but I don't know if I'm allowed to post it here.
Thanks for the pm Sean.
How the hell did you find it on youtube...? I spent forty minutes trying all different kinds of search combinations.

Just search 2003 Davis Cup and it comes up with videos called Tennis Federer vs Hewitt 3rd set, 2nd set etc.

Bloody hell, I tried that earlier and couldn't find it if my life depended on it! Must be blind, just found it now but. Cheers mate :thumbsu:

I remember watching this match like it were yesterday! Hewitt had no answers in the first two sets but just hung in there with teeth and claws...absorbing an enormous amount of pressure...until Federer finally cracked in the fifth. It was certainly the best match I had ever seen at that time.

I watch the highlights of this and wonder if Hewitt will ever taste victory over Federer again. I hope he does, I think he's gotten a bad rap in the press a bit undeservedly as he is a terrific competitor and he's had to carry the hopes of a nation on his shoulders year after year.
