Been meaning to look at the perfomances of our players compared to last year.

The big improvers were Johncock, Burton, Perrie & Shirley.

Those who fell by the way side were Goodwin, Biglands & Stenglein.

Interesting stuff Kane. It certainly is a very accurate reflection of the year.

To fall more than 10 positions such as Goodwin, Biglands & Stenglein did really tells a story about their performance as a whole for 2003.

Being right up the top doesn't give the big guns any scope for a large rise in the ratings but Johncock, Burton, Perrie & Shirley all deserved their climb up the ladder.

The only one that stands out as being unfairly rated by this system is McGregor, who had a good year, and his best yet. The answer to that of course is that he was very consistent without being dominating.
